Great and thorough job of demonstrating how you do your set-up, guys! As usual, you make everything look smooth and easy (even forgetting the hose was flawlessly remedied at the Camping World next door, lol! ) But don't worry, never hurts to have an extra hose! I just about fell off my chair when the oatmeal spilled, Kerry - Real life!! Yep, oatmeal happens...! Also helpful are your details of the amenities of the campground - thank you! Little Billie and Sweet Abbey are adorable, have you had any problems with them regarding the screen door? Do they ever try to go through it? Keep up the terrific work for TeamMax!! Safe travels (and let me know when you don't forget something...I always do.) 💜

Heyas Stacey! Initially we had an issue with Abbey trying to pop her head out of the back window over the bed...Thankfully she's not only sweet but is a good read on her humans...as she hasn't tested the screens after witnessing mom's panicked-stricken face. Thanks so much for all the kind words and support. GO TeamMAX!!!

You did a great video on camping and the hookups but only forgot your hose. Good thing there was camping world next door. It looked like a great park. The dogs Billie and Abbey are cute and well behaved. Thank you again for this video great job! 👍

Billie and Abbey are a joy to travel with, we are very lucky. We look back on that first outing and have to laugh, we had to think so hard before we did every step and now it’s just second nature. And we always have an extra hose on hand too!

Turn the power breaker on after you plug in the surge protector, BUT before you plug in the trailer and check the color of the the three small LEDs in the surge protector to confirm the park has wired the supply correctly. The surge protector explains the meaning of the LEDs on the face of the protector where the LEDs are at.

Great info David we are passing this info along on our Tuesday Vlog video! Appreciate the feedback

Great video but I'd flip on the breaker with the surge protector plugged in before I plug the cord in from the camper just as added precaution. I know the surge protector is suppose to protect everything but it only takes one time for it to fail to ruin your vacation.

Correct and very wise! This was from one of our first trips out as new RVers and one of the great things we love about sharing our trips online is getting incredibly helpful info from our viewers! We have since learned the error of our ways and do it as you have suggested. Please continue to bring things to our attention as you see them so that we can learn the right way and share it with other ‘newbies’ as well!

Bought my 2019 little guy max (off road package) last July. Love the trailer and will be outfitting it with a better solar package to do more boondocking. Some of the other things I've done includes putting pill & stick wallpaper on the wet bath door for more privacy. I also upgraded the fan to the Dometic Fan-tastic because it can blow air into the trailer. Safe travels my friend!
@TheRoadsWeRoam5 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Ricardo! Quick question - was it an easy process to swap out the fan for the Fan-tastic fan?

It was a pretty easy installation but I let the dealership handle it. I didn't want to do anything to void my warranty. @@TheRoadsWeRoam

I kind of don't get the title. There's a strong implication that the Little Guy Max had brand or model specific issues. Fantastic trailer though. You guys did good. This place looks like a great place to stay at when I head west. Thanks for the review and tour. You guys look like that trailer was made for you.

This KOA in Anthony, NM is just outside of El Paso and is a great stop as you travel through the area. It’s close to the outlet mall and more importantly, a Camping World if you forget/need anything! ;)

My brother lives so close to there back towards EP up in the foothills. Nice KOA and I have thought about Franklin Mts State Park very near him too, but when we visit we stay at his place. Not moochdocking...staying. 🙂
@TheRoadsWeRoam5 жыл бұрын
The KOA there is nice, but still pretty much a parking lot. If you do camp in the area, do Franklin or travel a little bit more and go to the Organ Mtns!

For a small camper, they we able to put quite a bit in there and make it aesthetically pleasing. We constantly had people looking inside and were surprised that it had a bathroom, kitchen, dinette and a bed in there!!

@@TheRoadsWeRoam One of our requirements for a camper is a low microwave for my short wife. :D Standing on a stool while removing dishes with hot liquids is a recipe for disaster. It has to be easy for us to tow in our Jeep Cherokee, have a walk around bed so we don't have to crawl over each at night to go to the bathroom, a dry bath, enough room for us and the dogs, be of Aluminum frame and Fiberglass body construction, and finally she wants a dinette not a sofa and table. So far that limits us to the following campers, Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS, and Surveyor Legend 19RBLE.

Your dogs seem well behaved but so many times my camping experience has been spoiled by dogs barking for extended periods of time and the owners do nothing about it. Have you trained your dogs specifically for that?

Oops! Before Keto, I put steel cut oats in a nice glass bowl all mixed in with water/milk, sugar, cinnamon, apples or blueberries, etc and then cooked in Instant Pot. If setting up before bed to cook for ready in the morning, I would use Apple juice rather than milk and set the timer so it cooked and was ready for V when he walked into the kitchen for BK. Was so good!
