I am really impressed with Gary's great attitude & behaviour with the flat. I'd get angry, depressed & then try to figure out what jerk didn't return my tire iron - but it wouldn't matter when I discovered my spare was 14 years old, flat & dry rotted! Props to Gary!

This wasn't our first flat in this truck so we had the "practice" and knew the spare was up to standards. Ironically it was on our 1st trip to the Desert Bar. Video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4S0m5d3rdSlrac

Glad the spare came off. If it was a chevy it would be rusted in place like my spare.

Hope a boot (patch) on the inside will fix it. If that is the most serious problem you have traveling all the way to Northern Alaska you are very lucky folks.

It was non repairable but fortunately the tread wear was low enough that we could just replace the one tire.

One of my favorite things you guys also share with us is.......... pulling in a new camp ground! I just love to see the camp grounds that you stay in. I love to see other RV's and how they are set up for their stay. Thanks for sharing and stay safe and well throughout your travels.

Thanks Latada. I know that they take some of our precious content minutes but this is exactly why I do it. I want to see what it looks like before hand if possible.

Hi Gary and Stacy have y'all been up to the Kennecott Mine tour ?
@RVingtoAlaska7 жыл бұрын
Not yet. We will be working our way over that direction in the later half of August. It is kinda out of the way so we will eventually make it over there. It is a must on our travel plans but quite a drive. 7+ hour drive from where we are now.

What are the gun fees for?
@RVingtoAlaska7 жыл бұрын
They were shipping our handguns up to Tok as well as the fee to carry our shotguns onboard thru Canada. If you look back at the very beginning of our RVing to Alaska playlist we cover how we did this legally and without hassle. Here is a link to that playlist. kzbin.info/aero/PLnsXVMhrx_6H0JlL151em6SJGKBKn4Aa-
