RV Jedeye....I have owned 3 RV's....two Class C & one TT. Still use a Class C. I'd like to recommend that whenever you leave your site with the awning extended from the RV, that you retract the awning. One never knows when a gust of wind might come up, or a branch will fall. This will protect your awning! Best regards. Dave

Just stumbled on your channel. Very nice review of the park. The named trails are mainly mountain bike trails. The paved trail is one of the prettiest multiuse trails around. I second the Silver Falls State park. You can see 10 major falls in a 6 ish mile hike. Oregon has a lot of scenic beauty. Crater Lake is a must see😊

I am impressed with the space between campsites! I told my husband about this and he said he had looked at it already. I'll definitely be showing him the footage of the campground. I love that there are trails and that a rail trail is easily accessible! I thought I saw another comment below that mentioned Ft. Stevens State Park near Astoria, OR. Highly recommend that one too. There is so much to see in that area. If you do check out Ft. Stevens, just an fyi, they are doing upgrades to the south loop of the campground through 2025 so it would be imperative to make reservations as far in advance as you can for that one.

Have you considered having meet ups? Stub Stewart is a top go to campground for staging a bike ride on the Banks to Vernonia trail. 22 miles of old railroad. Going south on the trail is 5 miles of downhill then 5 plus of flat. Going north it's curvy and fun. Thanks for the show.
@RVJedeyeКүн бұрын
Thought about one, haven’t figured it out yet. I can imagine a bike ride would be cool😁
@EricJLarsen5 сағат бұрын
I have stayed in that exact spot a few times. FYI, when you turned off of Apiary onto Hwy 47, you drove past Big Eddy County Park on the Nehalem River. That is also a great place to stay. Spend a bit of time in Vernonia while you are in the area. Great town.

Thank you so much for this video! I’m so glad to have “met” you this way! I have camped there a few times. I’d like to get my city-raised sons-in-law to enjoy camping. Any advice how to get them started? They are in Seattle, but I’m in Oregon. (Moving to Seattle in the future)
@RVJedeye45 минут бұрын
Thanks so much for finding me, I really appreciate it and so glad you enjoyed. As for your son-in-law… what does he like to do outdoors? Hike, go to the water? Whatever it is, go to a park for a day trip. Even if it’s hitting the beach for the day. Then walk around the park and look at some of the rvs and ask things like, “If you were going to RV what type of rig would you enjoy?” Then periodically send them a video you see from KZbin or Instagram with the type of RV. Then finally see if they would do a cool “adventure” with you as a family, rent an RV and go to one of the spots they really like, have a blast and then they’ll be hooked! Hope it helps 😁

I get what you meant about Kevin Spacey. I have similar feelings about Cosby. He was so damned talented and funny ... and he turned out to be a dirtbag. I used to be able to get a laugh out of people our age (and Boomers a little older) by just saying "Riiight" in Cosby's "Noah" voice. If you do that now they still chuckle, but then the conversation turns to his criminal convictions. Looks like a great park, and it was neat getting the background from the camp host.

This RV Park looks like it was carved out of an enchanted Forest…purely natural perfection! The Commitments is one of my all time favorite movies! These Irish kids could really bring the ‘Soul’ outta those awesome tunes (Colm Meany -Chief O’Brien from Star Trek) co-starred in this movie! It was really sad how the band imploded, and ruined their chances at success! #MayTheForestBeWithYou😂 LLAP 🖖🏼

This is my “RV TV” so any time I get to just sit back and “Watch an Episode” it’s a wonderful day!!! Also great footage of the Campgrounds! As a “Larger-RV Viewer” I’m always watching to see if the campsite can accommodate my “Class A”. Stunning Trails!!! WOW! Impressive! Beautiful wooded area! Great “Comfort Station” / facilities!!! Nice Mise en place for your Fajita Dinner! Yum!! Way to pivot when your movie disc’s were missing. That can be a bummer, but way to make the best of the moment. Hoping the beautiful deer helpped!!! (Deer TV) Regarding the Tails… “Widow Maker Way” !!! ??? 😬😬😬 I would need an All Trails App! I’m a weenie when it comes to adventure hiking. 😬 That there is a “Single Track”!!
