David is a big fake who is nothing but an opportunist. He didn't come on the show to learn abut the diversity of each of theur backgrounds and never intended to bond with them. He came on the show to promote himself. He lwants it to be " the David show" & he only tolerates the roomies because they were a package deal. The thing that really sucks about ut is that there were thousands of ppl who would have gladly taken his spot for the right reasons and actually would get something out of the experience. 😐

Everyone comes on the show for self promotion. David was not thr first singer, rapper, artist to join the show. No one joins this show for their lives to be exposed with no reward.

David is stressed about his living situation back at home. I think coming on the show offered him a bit of respite from all of that - even though it clearly bleeds over when he's in the house. He was just closed off which allowed for misunderstanding. It's frustrating dealing with someone like that, but I don't think he was an outright bad guy. He was very young and trying to deal with serious stuff while not knowing yet how to do that.
@bassman32122 жыл бұрын
Yeah I agree! He was just getting the most out of the opportunities given there and was thinking long term for his future when he did get back home. While the others were just living more in the moment there. I can respect why he was doing what he was while there

David is the type of person i dont like to be around. A person who feels that everyone is after them, and that everyone wants to be them, and they all want what they have. But in real life, everyone wants to be their friend. They dont want what anytjing from them, instead they want to create together. During his production episode, how he did it all, showed it all to me. He didnt ask them for help, because in his world, no one had ever helped him, no one has ever supported him. So he had the mentality of "im alone, i have to do everything myself." N thats not a good way to be.

watching this 20 years later after when i first saw it, I am now on David's side. I completely feel they ganged up on him because it was a bit more eccentric personality wise and they didnt understand him totally. that whole scene about them cleaning up together was stupid, just let him clean it when he's finished being busy.... i dont totally blame david for ditching matt, he seems like he was forcing him to bring him along without properly asking to see if it was alright (im imagining they edited some stuff out). and if matt did ask him off screen to tag along, i do believe david should've been honest about not wanting him to accompany him.
@RachelDavis7054 жыл бұрын
That cleaning thing seemed to just be the latest example though. All season they've shown David refusing to hang out with them and getting frustrated with them. They were definitely over-dramatic, but David was also needlessly hard-headed too
