to be fair, dominus is an unpopular car because its hard to control, but those of us who main it, we know the reason why we never switch to octane hitbox xD

@@dannykezz1 funnily enough for the first 700 hours of playtime I have mostly been an octane main. The reason for that was that the Dominus cost money back then and I wasn't about to spend money on a car xD after not playing for over 3 years I came back and found the Dominus in my box. I thought I'd try it to see since it actually was a car that many pros used back in the day. And now I'd say I'm actually more comfortable with it than I am with the Octane. The biggest difference I noticed was that my aerial's are much better with it. Of course I knew before that that was it's upside and octane was always more known for its control on the ground. But still since I am a keyboard player, aerial's have always been rather awkward for me especially with octane, because I have to make multiple inputs to control the ball. But with Dominus it's so much easier to generate power in the air.

GGs to TempoH for the upset and playing Rw9 so confidently like it's any other game Also about Johnny's statement regarding dominus I don't necessarily agree, I think it's a matter of getting used to, I have seen lobbies with fennec/octane players being much more inconsistent than dominus players and the other way around of course, in fact it got to a point that very few people started playing dominus compared to fennec that it was more likely for the dominus players to have the car mastered and know what they are doing while the fennec players could range from very bad to very good since everyone is using them, sure it might be more difficult to get used to (hence why from the start of the game octane used to be more popular, it also didn't have competition until dominus released some months later tho) but once you are then I don't see any major downsides, at least this applies for gc and higher ranks, I am not familiar with lower ranks but I can only imagine that a new player is not really being held back by the car but by other game sense/ knowledge, probably most people at this point choose fennec/octane for 2 reasons, 1 is that everyone uses them and 2 is that it has a better understandable hitbox so there is that, but if they chose to start with a dominus and grind 2.000 hours with it they would get used to the car at that point to understand how to powershot, flick, 50/50, etc. I was also surprised to hear about flicking being easier with fennec when back around 2015-2017 it was almost a general consensus that dominus can flick better Had to make a little comment about it with my thoughts, I am not an expert anymore and I recently quit rocket league, I still enjoy watching RL with tournaments like this, just thought as a former 2015 RL player it might be worth sharing a little bit of my opinion and context for people that maybe haven't been around for too long. First time seeing Rw9 genuinely pissed off and uncomfortable and never adapting to someone else’s playstyle in 1s. Tempoh is unpredictable which is an element hardly any pro has nowadays, usually just outplaying someone with mechanics. Tempoh proved his mind is stronger and smarter than Rw9 and Diaz

Just watch the series rw9 played right before this. He hasn’t been in form for a while and played just like this in the match before. He seems to be tilted by his own level of play lately. He isn’t playing 1s he’s just autopiloting into every play as of late.

@@LizemPool Really not sure what you mean. In the past 2 months he’s played 4 showmatches, and the past year has been playing Nass, Mawkzy, and Dralii a number of times. I don’t even see a time where he took a break for almost a year, and has made sure to stay top 5 or top 3 in 1s every season, including this season. 😂what a terrible excuse

@@gregansbootstrap5352 Tell me how much showmatches he has played after Salt Mine 3, here on Johnny's channel there were Mawkzy and Dralli during the second major, and a few weeks ago on another channel against Mawkzy, that youtuber is from Saudi Arabia if I am not wrong, and we are in November almost December so that's is almost a year after SM 3 and he played like what? 3, 4 showmatches? So I don't see any excuse there, I guess your intelligence is limited so I won't argue about it anymore and if you are going to cry send an audio.
