But - many accounts are closed down because of the administrative time associated with badly managed accounts - writing a bad cheque only takes the heat off a business for a very short time but a habit of writing them causes a waste of administrative time with the account manager- and I speak from experience. No business banker wants to tell a customer to go elsewhere. And, kebab shops often close down due to increased competition from fellow countrymen - in years gone by ( circa late 80’s early 90’s ) a new kebab shop was often closed down as a consequence of an unexplained fire.
