The accident in the mine is where Ilia's parents died, Blake remembers from when she told her (it was in the Blake short before Volume 5, so it has been awhile). All the Ace Ops are based on Aesop's fables characters, i'll let you guys figure which is which but as a hint... they're not based on trees 😂 Also, we had seen the geist before way back in the first chapter of volume 4, it was posessing rocks and trees from what i remember. And as for Tyrian, the change in his eyes is him activating/using his semblance. Hope this all helps a little, and really looking forward to the reaction to the rest of the volume. ^^

Clover has luck semblance, vine can project his aura into something like arms, elm is a thick queen she’s naturally strong her semblance allows her to root herself in the ground, marrow can give commands cause doggy, and Harriet has super speed the cybernetic enhancements are only for her arms which give her increased strength.

According to RoosterTeeth, Marrow's semblance isn't giving commands, it's specifically Freeze, which allows him to stop motion by saying "Stay". That's the only usage

The Ace-Ops are actually incredibly professional, not loose cannons at all. Their behavior was entirely in line with what Ironwood would've wanted given the context (unknown entities with a stolen Atlas ship). Also, Ilia made it clear that Blake had never shown interest in her. We've seen Tyrian's eyes go purple when he's poisoning people (for example, Qrow). I don't think there was ever a past incident of abuse explicitly discussed regarding Weiss, only the slap that we saw.

Furthermore, Miles Luna states that he wanted Atlas to feel like the Beacon days at first, and first came up with the idea that some Atlas Academy professors would teach them. Fact 2: The crates in the Abandoned SDC Mine is intended to bring out Adam Taurus to the forefront of Blake's mind, which is something that Yang notices. Fact 3: Weiss did not receive a weapon upgrade as Myrtenaster was already perfect for her needs. Fact 4: The writers were confused when they saw people on Reddit and Tumblr think that there would be a shopping montage in this volume. Fact 5: The mine is heavily implied to be same mine where Ilia Amitola's parents lost their lives. Fact 6: The writers have stated that many things that seem like retcons are actually not, just that Miles and Kerry didn't do a good job explaining it the first time while learning how to tell a story while simultaneously telling a story. Harriet was semblance was based off of the flash. Her name and personality was based off of The Tortoise and The Hare. But I do see where you got sonic from. Finally, she isn't cybernetic. She wears and backpack that turn into a sort of power booster the latch onto her arms. Kind of like bionic gloves. Edit: By the way, Marrow slows down what ever is in his field of vision.

SDC stands for schnee dust company, weiss's dads company literally branded adam like he was property, hes still a horribly toxic person, but i get how he became so toxic. The aace ops are all based off asops fables, and thier semblences are luck, good luck, speed, super speed, stay, anyone pointed to cannot move so long as they remain pointed at, root, root yourself into the ground and be near immovable, and stretch, project your aura into varies shapes, like extendioong your arms or legs. Anf lastly, jaunes paraglider thing is using hard light dust, basically dust that creates solid but see through opjects like forefields, holograms and gliders

I do wish the narrative of the show wasn't "isn't this what Oz did to us?" because it is very different! Ozpin asked them to risk their lives for him and his plan, failing to tell them things they had a right to know if they were going to do that because of "trust issues" that essentially put his doubts above their lives. Them not telling Ironwood is withholding critical information, sure, but it's not the same thing! Ironwood isn't being asked to fight on their behalf. He will fight regardless and he would fight independent of their intel, it's just important he knew these things before fighting off with Salem directly. Ironwood may trust them, but he's not out here dying for them not knowing things he should. Meanwhile that's what could have happened to team RWBY because Ozpin thought they'd turn their backs, which ironically backfired and rightfully so.

Soo to help clear the air, Aesop's Fables er I mean the Ace Ops are based on old tales. The Lucky Fisherman, The Elm & The Vine, The Tortoise and the Hare, and The Dog and it's reflection. S.D.C. is Schnee Dust Company which is what is BRANDED on Adam's face. The mine the girls were in is the exact same mine that Ilia's parents died in. We all saw our first Gheist in episode 1 of Vol 4 when it's just Ruby, Juane, Nora, and Ren. And Tyrian only has his natural venom, it's not explained but the new tail helps him to distribute the vemon when he attacks, his eyes change color like Yang's when he goes to use it.

You have seen the geist at the beginning of Volume 4. The Giantbrock monster. And you had seen it fly away at the end of that fight. Also Tyrion's eyes changed during his intro fight with Qrow, when he poisoned him. It was a minor detail. Also Watts didnt write the city's code recently, the line is to indicate both that he is from Atlas/Mantle and nothing changed since he left making it easy for him to log into. You guys saw your first geist in the first chapter of volume four. I was waiting for you to realise it, and all I got was Breath of the Wild. Here's the new Info on the new character's, Info on the Ace Operatives, ( Ace-Ops ) Name: Clover Ebi Allusion: A Fisherman's Good Luck Weapon: Kingfisher Clover's weapon of choice is Kingfisher, a collapsible fishing rod which he use as a grappling hook and whip. He is shown using it to grapple onto enemies, pulling at their limbs and tripping them up. Semblance: Good Fortune Clover's Semblance is stated to be "good fortune", which allows him to manipulate probability positively. Like Qrow's Misfortune, Clover's is also constantly active, but instead it cause's good fortune wherever he goes with varying effects, from being miraculously saved from cave-ins, to casually catching an unstable Dust crystal, to even giving him good card hands in card games. Another clear difference between Clover's "Good Fortune" in comparison to Qrow's "Misfortune" is that while Qrow's Semblance does not discriminate between who it affects and brings constant "bad luck" to everyone around him, Clover's "Good Fortune" seemingly only affect's and brings him "Good Luck" in whatever he dose, instead of indiscriminately constantly giving "Good Luck" to everyone around him. Clover has a habit of flicking his pin to signal his Semblance is in effect. It isn't known if it was an activation requirement, a focusing tool, or merely a subconscious habit. Name: Harriet Bree Allusion: Hare ( From The Tortoise and The Hare) Weapon: Fast Knuckles Harriet's weapons of choice are Fast Knuckles, an exoskeleton suit whose main function seems to be its ability to greatly enhance the wearer's upper body strength. Harriet shows immense strength and durability. Semblance: Super-Speed Harriet's Semblance, Super-Speed, allowed her to move incredibly fast, accompanied by an electric trail. She believes she has a better reaction time than Ruby. Through the use of her Semblance, Harriet is able to safely land from great heights. While speed Semblances are common, the speeds which Harriet can reach are of an unsurpassed caliber. Name: Elm Ederne Allusion: The Elm Tree ( From The Elm and The Vine ) Weapon: Timber Elm's weapon of choice is Timber, a massive hammer/rocket launcher hybrid, whose strength is enough to kill a pair of Megoliaths in one hit. Timber's recoil is powerful enough to the point where Elm needs to use her Semblance to not be blown away by the force exerted from it. Semblance: Aura Roots Elm's Semblance, Aura Roots, allows her to plant herself in place, causing her to seemingly be unmovable for its duration, allowing for greater strength to be put into blows. Thanks to her Semblance, she is capable of holding the Frosted Petra Gigas Geist in its place by grabbing its leg and successfully stop a charging Megoliath in its tracks. Elm's Semblance also makes her perfect in using heavy artillery type weapons, due to the fact that she could easily root herself to the ground to prevent the weapons' immense recoil to fling her right off her feet. Extra ability: Immense Strength Befitting her size and build, Elm possesses a high level of strength, able to swing her massive hammer with earth-shattering force. Name: Vine Zeki Allusion: The Vine's ( From The Elm and The Vine ) Weapon: Thorn Vine's weapon of choice is Thorn, a bladed throwing star. However, he rarely use's it, instead mainly relying on his semblance in battles. Semblance: Aura Vines Vine's Semblance, Aura Vines, allows him to generate vine-like appendages from his arms and legs, essentially extending the length of his limbs. He is seen using his Semblance to propel himself and grapple at other enemies, as well as using the extended limbs to punch at them from a distance.
