It hurts cause Ironwood genuinely wants to be inhuman, but his attempts at being so just blind him to his very human flaws of bias, anger, and fear. Meanwhile Oscar and Penny want to be normal, but are too wrapped up in feeling "unnatural" to realize how human they truly are.

This was so good! Everything was so cleanly edited I loved it! Side note: I have a habit of watching fan edits and trying different songs over them, and Faded by Alan Walker actually really suits this if you start watching this video as the lyrics begin in the song!

I've sat on this for a few days trying to find words to explain how well done this is. You are truly a master at AMVs. Now I am no expert by any means, just someone who gets entranced by flashy images and tends to over-analyze everything. For starters, I'm not sure if you just have a natural(no pun intended) knack for this, or you're consciously doing it, but you totally nailed the whole "guiding the eye" thing, something even the official RWBY openings didn't really have down for the first 4 volumes. In every scene change the new subject is roughly where the eye was in the previous scene. It's cinematic 101 yet so many people miss it, you did not. Also the transitions feel natural(again, no pun intended.) They aren't jarring, or at least not jarring when they shouldn't be. They're predictable in all the right ways so the viewer doesn't spend the whole video trying to follow what's happening. And how well the scenes match the lyrics. I'm in love with 1:15 - 1:17 as it fits so well. It was so well executed. Also letting the lyrics influence the effects, like from 2:05 to 2:23 being black and white for the line "deep inside me I'm fading to black" like that's genius. And how it relatively slowly transitioned back to color as the song charged up for the chorus, again, genius! Also I see so many AMV makers failing to make the impacts of the scenes match the music, which is so vital for songs like this, but you have succeeded. It's just eye candy to watch! So I basically just fell to my knees in worship over this AMV. I hope this helps you see how fantastic your work is, because as a fellow artist I know how easy it is to get caught up in the little things that you don't see how good your work is. I'm here to tell you: IT'S FUCKING FANTASTIC!
