Thing is Chibi Yang still has her organic arm in this. The Bumblebee shipping is more prevalent post volume 3 in the main series thanks to what Adam did. Two lovers who got bested in battle by a psychopathic ex boyfriend, torn apart their relationship because they left each other without saying a word, but secretly miss each other and dream of being in each other's arms again to embrace their love, every night. I ship cyborg Yang with Blake super heavily.

I love how both Emerald and Roman actually had wide eyes when Mercury started talking about Neo. Like, it's a great way of showing that neither thing it's a good idea to get on Neo's bad side. XD

Weeeell, Emerald was laughing at Neo during the second half, though. But it all really went down when Cinder arrived, and all the other villains watched in excited anticipation as their boss's wrath became focused on Mercury. Even though Cinder only incinerated the puppet and threatened Mercury's life, it was enough that all of the other villains were satisfied with Mercury's punishment, and called-off their original plans to attack him. That's a great way of showing that it's a *_really_* bad idea to get on Cinder's bad side. XD

Yang and Ruby were in their combat gear from the very start. Only Weiss and Blake seemed to actually be getting ready to go out. In that case it is reasonable to assume that half the team intended girls night to be a raid on a criminal hangout while the other half actually intended to dance for a few hours. The whole scene was just a big misunderstanding. Ruby and Yang thought that Weiss and Blake were on board for the idea without actually explaining it to them.

But it all really went down when Cinder arrived, and all the other villains watched in excited anticipation as their boss's wrath became focused on Mercury. Even though Cinder only incinerated the puppet and threatened Mercury's life, it was enough that all of the other villains were satisfied with Mercury's punishment, and called-off their original plans to attack him. That's a great way of showing that it's a *_really_* bad idea to get on Cinder's bad side. XD
