One of the reasons I like RWBY is because of a specific point that Monty mentioned. The flow of the movements in combat and how it all feels smooth is a big part of a show like RWBY and it really just makes it all feel right. Everything feels like one continuous motion and it's all happens fast, but not too fast to where I can't tell what's going on, but fast enough to where it keeps a good pace, feels smooth, and delivers. And I also love the score! Great job guys, can't wait for Vol.2!

I enjoy watching RWBY because the whole world is so open ended. There is so much for us to learn and so many stories that can be told. It could be a very upbeat show or could turn very Grimm at any point. The mystery of what can happen next is why I love it.

Monty was truly one of my heroes. I was was blown away with his Dead Fantasy series. I was hyped as hell when rooster teeth wanted him to help out with red vs blue. When he finally got his chance to create his own series, I was so happy for him. To watch RWBY grow technically and story wise is inspiring. MIss you Monty.

Big props to the fight choreographers. There's tons of original moves and weapon usage, as well as fight moves taken from Soul Calibur, Tekken and other awesome games I've recognized they are integrated into the action sequences. RWBY just would not be as amazing without the brawls.

RWBY is definitely style over substance. I look forward to the team's next project when they can spend less effort on the style and details and focus on the story. RWBY makes me think of Yugioh season 0. All the style and twists and turns are there, but the main selling point is missing. With RvB, there wasn't really competition. There was no fanbase for comedic parody and machinima of an ultraviolent shooting game. With RWBY, they're entering into a field with a long history. And it makes a great first step in bringing something new to the genre of Anime. I can't wait to see the firestorm that will come when they get the style and substance balanced properly.

I think the point of him getting bullied by that guy (whose name I can't remember) was to allow Pyrrah to step in and train him up to be a stronger person and a better fighter. He has a lot of Aura apparently, so yeah, hopefully it does have a payoff in season 2.

Yeah the (jaune) arc was kinda boring, but they can't all be winners with a new team that is still trying to get a feel for what they can do and hopefully it was enough to set up for some better stuff later on. Despite its very rough edges, RWBY comes off as such a labor of love, I find it incredibly difficult not to adore. It's completely devoid of modern anime's usual cynicism regarding the audience, and is very clearly made by fans, for fans. I can't wait to see what's in store for Season 2.

The main thing thats bothering me about the animation is how the hair mostly moves as one big chunk instead of each lock moving independently like in real life. Other than that the animation is really starting to improve and I cant wait for volume 2. Keep up the good work guys!
