I love the RWBY sound direction. The fact that fights require so much concentration that the combatants can’t have entire debates during them is a refreshing departure from most animated fight scenes. That said, this sequence is so good without even the grunts taunts and yells.

I feel like the most kick ass fights of RWBY have songs backing them up. The fact that they didn't use the vocals ONCE in this fight makes me sad.

Fun fact: The reason this is so good is because this was a Monty fight. It was supposed to be used in Volume 3 when Yang confronts Adam.

So was Yang planned to lose her arm either way or was that added after? Cause there are a few times in this fight that can be used for Yang getting her arm cut off.

A show that went from "costs nothing to produce" to $25k-35k per minute to produce. With a plot that had no real direction, it's ZERO wonder why RT went belly up. That and Gen:Lock. Don't get me wrong, it was good early on, but like...the show was meant to be a bare-bones passion-project thing.

He doesn’t really he served his purpose in the story the white fang have been abolished from their old ways and yang and Blake are back together so he could come back but he served his purpose (monty did plan this fight so Adam was always planned to die they just waited to long to use in so it felt like he had more importance when he really didn’t but hey who knows
