Something else incredible with Somewhat's design is that it's very clearly based off of Ruby. The tuft of hair, the hood, the fingerless gloves, the belt. They went up to the Blacksmith and asked to be made into their friend.

What I like is that Jaune regained JUST his lost time. The white streaks in his hair tells me that he keeps the experience he gained in the Ever After.

I love the connectiong between Somewhat and the Redwall stuff. those books were my favourite growing up and I still have a couple of them. Brian Jacques apparently wrote the books with so much description in them to be read to blind kids to help their imagination.

The problem with making a new Volume isn't that RWBY doesn't make lots of money. The problem is, does RWBY make more money than it costs to produce? And does it make ENOUGH profit to justify greenlighting RWBY over some other production that's competing for production budget? And it doesn't help that the CRWBY was basically let go. Re-assembling the CRWBY or creating a new one is just going to add more time and expense to making a new Volume. And if done on the cheap can lead to an inferior product. After all, if this show has proven anything, you can't just buy good combat choreography; just look what happened to V4 and V5 after Monty died.
