I knew about Monty because of rwby and long after he passed away, my brother wanted to watch Dead Fantasy with him. I watched Dead Fantasy when I was hella young so I didn't understand it and thought it was weird and cringy. Then I watched it again (this time a lot older) and loved the choreography and fights, but then I saw a familiar name: "Monty Oum". My mind was blown and now I love both series. RIP Monty

I like the fact that Monty takes the “Jackie Chan” approach. He doesn’t make the fight a fight, it’s more like dancing. He uses the music in the background as a sort of temp, and choreographs the fight to go along with the song. Which is some people forget to do, as fight can also tell a story if done correctly.

I just love how junior gets a few smacks in, Yang barely get's hurt, and then Yang just, breaks his entire skull, like, soo bad. Also can we talk about Junior's weapon? I’ve watched this video dozens of times, but this is the first time I notice Yang using her semblance throughout the fight, not just in her fight with Jr.. If you watch closely, every single time she takes damage from anyone, she’ll use her semblance right afterward (you can see it if you watch her hair). That just shows how great of a fighter she is and how she doesn’t just use it for last resort attacks.

Oh that's true! Like at 3:43 when the twins kicked her away, she used that rebounding force to knock Melanie away and isolate Miltia for a 1v1. I honestly thought the glowing hair effects were solely aesthetic. I never realized they actually signified Yang's semblance because it was a very light usage of it.

Not using their semblances, characters appearing in weird places, unbelievable feats, no rythm, no good poses in the movements, etc. If the aesop's were supposed to be the best hunters, I don't even know why salem bothered to bring a whole army. The characters are all super unlikable now too they've made so maybe stupid illogical decisions or said so many dumb things. The only good character last volume was ironwood and they've turned him into a cartoon villain now, a stupid cartoon villain who makes dumb decisions. So I guess he at least matches every other character now.

Can't you just be grateful the series was continued? If it bothers you THAT badly do something about it other than complain. Has anyone realized that whoever the character is fighting in the trailer is actually *really* significant. Like, Ruby was fighting a bunch of wolf-grimms, a nod to her inspiration, little red riding hood. Weiss was fighting herself to please others i.e. her father. Blake was fighting *with* her past. Lastly, Yang was fighting a bunch of lackeys, which is significant simply because she never really *does* fight the actual bad guys alone like Blake, Ruby, Qrow, and Phyrra did.

DAvin Wooddell Red and Yellow are my two favourite trailers, it's a toss up really. I think they're both fantastic. I like Black and White too, but, they just don't have the raw fight that Red and Yellow do. Character-wise though, Blake and Nora are my favourites. :)

Dreamer Dawn Special materials, yes, but they also obviously weight a decent amount. The Scythe for instance can hold Ruby (As it's part of her fighting style to hop on it at times), It'd have to weigh a decent amount for it to stay steady when she stands on it like she does, off center. Not saying they're ultra heavy, but they're also clearly not something that weight next to nothing and as people who have been trained to fight, they're also not people who would struggle to lift something 40+ pounds
