Well, IT IS a Mid-Engine 6L W12 Twin-Turbo Powered VW Golf GTI reinforced with an Audi R8 Rear Subframe for the Engine and Structural rigidity and a Lamborghini Rear Axle, and was supposedly only making 650HP... I don't know much about W12's but I know a V12 should make at least 650hp in a performance application...being Twin-Turbo and guessing there's nice hardware going in the build, it's Highly Probable that it can do much more than that, like perhaps double that...like ~1200hp territory wouldn't be out of the question...though they might have gone with tini-tiny Turbos instead of what I'm thinking should/would fill a W12 Engine...which are not tiny by any stretch of the imagination but maybe it's only like that because they determined that 650hp should be the Max since it's RWD, but then I'll just say Traction Control or an actual good driver... And I have to say that the Body Kit could be a Bit more Aggressive in the Front but all in all it looks like it's functional and it's rare to get a Wide-Body Kit from the Manufacturer(s), just hoping that they made it functional and the Mid-Engine config is so perfect it doesn't need ANY downforce in the front? It would have been nice to see a Front/Rear Spoiler/Diffuser Combo for Ground Effect and underneath be completely flat with Carbon Fiber Laminated Plates with Wood "protectors". But I'm probably asking too much from the Owner of companies like Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Ducati, Lamborghini, Porsche...😂 LOL It is indeed hard to imagine a Golf Surpassing this one! Especially since it was made by the Manufacturer you can expect everything to work well together, even electronics-wise, A/C, Navigation, etc... and have a great warranty on it too! Very cool though! Makes me think of nowadays' HillClimb and Pikes Peak builds where they concentrate on Big Power in a Very Loght Chassis with a lot of Aero (especially for Pikes Peak!)

@@ryanshaw3268 For the Renault 5 Turbo, it's normal to not have many on the road anymore. It's an 80s car what do you expect, a homologation rally car no less. Years have passed and many are either used for racing by privateers or driven by people. You can say the same thing on how there's not a shit load of Golf R32's and not quite alot of Sierra RS500's on the road too now but oh you wouldn't bash them as much cause they're VW or Ford. It simply became rare just like most old car that isn't an affordable econobox. Not fair anyway to compare to a Golf GTi which is not even a homologation special. As for the Clio V6, it's production number isn't quite as much, adding to that it cost a pretty money back then, now it cost _quite alot of money_ now because people are treating it like a collectible car instead. (You can still occasionally find the Trophy version for cheap though, but they're not road legal and for racing only). Reportedly it's very nice to drive too but at the limit it's as scary as the original "widowmaker" Porsche 911 Turbo. It's production units is also limited

This isn't a coach build job or a body on frame design like a Land Rover Defender, or a TVR the chassis is part of the entire car and this is still a golf underneath it all. Just because it has an axle from a Gallardo doesn't mean the chassis is designed to handle it. Maybe actually understand how vehicles are built, and the difference between ladder frame, body on frame and a monocoque chassis. You must be one of those car guys who don't actually know anything about cars at all.

However still more impressive than VW because they actually produced and sold them by the thousands instead of just a PR car for "scheisse un giggles", and has the same philosophy, or more correctly, beat VW to the punch with the philosophy - ruining any semblance of hatchback practicality by just dumping a wholesale engine in the middle, make it RWD and add THICC bodykit to it, and like I stated before, did something VW don't do - sell it to the public.

That engine is a work of art but should never be in a small chasis. Need low tq and an engine to rev out. They have so many better engines. Especially since they used the r8 subframe. That turbo engine would have been perfect.

Jeremy Clarkson drove it on top gear some years back. While it accelerated in a straight line like crazy it didn’t handle well since all of the weight was in the rear and it had such a relatively short wheelbase for the engine layout be power it was making. It’s still amazing tho!!!
