I've got an xr2i with an st24 v6. It's not the fastest but goes alright .. when it was built 13 years ago it was better power than fiesta turbo engine and 2.0 engine what lots of people were doing at the time!!

Madness how a stripped out Fiesta with 2.5 V6 could be so sluggish. Turbo'd K20 should do the trick. Thought I was looking forward to seeing the Nova more than anything but the Porsche race car.....

If it's a 24v 2.5 it should in theory be making about 200hp if it's healthy, which ought to be more than enough to get a little mk6 fiesta moving, although if you're binning the engine then that doesn't really matter. The only thing that I absolutely beg of you to do is to not put rep wheels on it when you eventually change it. Too many cool cars in the UK are ruined by having reps and mk6 fiestas especially. Please god pick good wheels, that alone would make it look so much nicer.

Wrong engine, wrong car in the wrong colour with the wrong body mods....but the premise is good.....! To be fair the 2.5 Duratec V6 wasn't a bad motor - I'm guessing it's not actually running right (they have a valved inlet manifold which probably isn't working).
