I decided to go searching for drift RC stuff on the spur, ran across your vid about the NorCal drift club, and I didn't even know it existed. I drift a lot in Assetto Corsa (not RC obviously, but it's what I got) so I enjoy watching other people's drift adventures as well. It's very cool to see people in NorCal shredding. I had no idea there were even people interested in RC drift in my state, let alone in the half I live in. Would love to do this, but circumstances currently dictate that I watch others doing it. I'm stoked to see some Cali folk expressing their style. Keep it up man, and I'll keep watching. :)

thanks man, I appreciate it!! the scene has been growing a good amount in the last few years, the NorCal guys usually run at Sheldon’s Hobbies in San Jose if you ever wanna check it out in person!

@@ninjonaah Hey thanks. I appreciate the tip, and yeah, while it's 2.5 hours from where I live (I live in the Sierra Mt. Foothills) it's closer than I expected, lol. I'll definitely consider that if I get to a point where I pick up the hobby. In the meantime, it's great fun to watch.

Hey, buddy. I've been watching you for two years, and I can say that you are a great editor, do not throw this case, you are doing great, but maybe not so many subscribers and likes, but you do it for your audience and we get high from your Affairs, move on, respect from Russia!

Nice video as usual! Do you have any footage of some drifting failures? It's fun to see these guys do it at a really high level but for someone who is interested in getting started it would be nice to see some folks crash as well. That way the new folks understand that mistakes happen even amongst the best.
@ninjonaah4 жыл бұрын
thanks! I do get footage of drifting failures but I mainly keep them out of the comp videos out of respect for the drivers. For the comp videos specifically, there's a lot of cars to try to fit within 3-4 mins and due to the nature of the comps, I only have limited footage of the cars that get knocked out in the lower brackets. As a result, I try to include the best driving of those cars so that the drivers can at least see some of the good action rather than just a failure. When it comes to the cars that show up a lot and make it to the higher brackets, they don't tend to crash so it's just a lot of good footage of them lol. I'm not the best at wording, but I hope the concept gets across. However, I do understand your POV and I'll look into ways to try to convey that mistakes happen as well!

Hi! You make great content videos! Like and subbed! I just dipped into rc drifting and made a big mistake. I bought a Tamiya TT-02d chassis and the Yeah Racing RWD conversion set. Then I read on forums that the TT-02 is a bad chassis and the conversion kit is garbage. Nevertheless, I am quiet happy with the performance so far having no other comparison. Is driving a Yokomo or MST RMX 2.0s so different and easier? Or are the first steps in drifting just hard for everyone and every platform?
@ninjonaah4 жыл бұрын
Thanks!! I don’t have too much experience with RWD drifting, but I tried the Yokomo YD-2 a few times. I think in a day I started to get the feel for it and started linking together the course at GGT. I haven’t tried other chassis, but I’ve heard that the Yokomo and the MST drift well out of the box and are more easily tuned

Love these cars but damn the chassis are way too pricey.... Ive built 3 crawlers for what a "beginner chassis" costs....
@ninjonaah4 жыл бұрын
I thought the prices were comparable, I think I’ve seen a beginner kit at around $200 somewhere? Might be able to score one used too, I was able to trade my CC-01 for one a while ago
