That is SO adorable the way Lucy got all excited when she saw Drew! It's to the point where I look forward to seeing her in every vlog! I just love animals so much! After I got my license, the dog we had since I was a little boy used to love to ride in the car with me. She thought she was a person and would literally sit in the passenger seat with her paw on the armrest and look out the window as we drove! 😂 Check out Russell just chilling out in that room. Like the king of the castle ensconced on his throne! 😂😛

That chicken looks delicious. My mom always had the same meals every week. Like spaghetti Wednesdays and meatloaf Fridays. U always knew what was for dinner. Now at college I get to choose what I eat. I do miss some of her food tho.

Lucy, you surprised me! I like the quick meals the boys eat--since I'm so planned. For instance, Drew's chicken--was it warmed up, or did you cook it for him right before the video? I was always amazed at my Mom (long before air fryers and other devices), how she got everything timed to where all the food, I mean ALL the food was just finished, so it tasted so fresh. I marvel at all the things you do Stacy! Great Mom! During the School year, you have a tad more freedom it appears; during Summer, so many activities!! You are so busy, but it's all centered around your boys and I SO admire you! When the boys are on their phones, are they doing Tik Tok, listening to music, playing games or texting mostly? I see them all very into their phones, so wondered when you Tik Tok (I still haven't had the inclination to sign up, but plan to!), was wondering if they Tik Tok, or if you are the one who films? I know, speaking for me, like I've said, no matter if it seems mundane and ordinary, for someone like me, single, no relatives, I'm immensely interested in "FAMILY," (that I used to have) and somehow I connect with yours--because you all are a normal, local Texas Christian family. Thank you for all of your cooking tips as well. Trevor, I missed how he won the $25...............he is SO cool, calm, and his voice is changing even from your first Vlog videos! My, they grow up fast! Jack seems relatively quiet, too. Drew is like me--the youngest, most outgoing, vocal, demonstrative and FUNNY! :D Glad to see Dad in the video too! I Love Lucy! (Could be a great title for a TV Show!). I have a LILY. She's a rescue and SWEET!

I really like it when you video yourself making dinner. I'm going to try putting mustard on the meat next time I cook, which is not very often. Also I really hope that the mask that you wear isn't exposing your skin to harmful light rays that we aren't normally exposed to. But I'm sure that you already looked into that. Do you guys ever watch the Little League World Series on TV in August? I love it, it's a highlight for me. Those kids are so skilled & talented. Canada sends a team every year in the international division though we have yet to get to the finals. The Japanese & South Koreans are always tough to beat in the international division.

We love our Ninja appliances too, we used to have all Cuisinart and Breville appliances, but they didn't hold up or last for us, so far the Ninja ones are working much better for us, we have an indoor smokeless grill, we have a convection toaster oven, similar to like the one you showed in this video but has 4 levels of cooking, and our favorite which is the ice cream maker. And the nice thing about the Ninja appliances is the prices are reasonable for their products. And of course my Friday was awesome, even though I had to work for 6 hours in the morning from 6am to 12 noon, but since it was my birthday, after work I stopped at a few places that give out birthday freebies, so went to Starbucks got myself a free frappuccino and a free apple pie from Popeyes, a free cheeseburger from Mcdonalds, free Baja Blast from Taco Bell. And this coming Tuesday I will get the rest of my birthday freebies from the rest of the stores which include, Kohl's, Bob's Stores, P.F. Changs, Qdoba, Cinnabon, American Eagle, Pizza Hut, and Wendy's. And you cooked a very nice Birthday dinner for me there on Friday, I bet that chicken was very tasty. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

They're in the south. Schools get out really early there in part because of the heat. Where I am in the northeast, the schools generally do not get out until the 3rd week of June (around the 21st) and go back usually either the day after or two days after Labor Day.

I also can't stand touching chicken with bare hands. During the pandemic, I discovered those disposable surgical type gloves. (Yes, I wore them grocery shopping 😅) Anyway, they are great for handling raw chicken! Chicken never touches your hands. Just toss when done. You can find them at most stores and Walgreens. Trevor and Nelson do look like twins!

I cook for myself daily and although it's not the most pleasant, I have no trouble touching raw chicken or any other kind of meat with my bare hands. My mother and grandmother did it. I just make sure that I wash my hands thoroughly after handling it before I touch anything else.

if you don't like touching raw meat then keep a box of hospital gloves in the kitchen. They're great for handling raw meat, working with messy ingredients and handling smelly foods like raw garlic.

Stacy, you should also film all the times you stop for Gas fill-ups for your vehicle! The thing I have learnt watching your life in the USA, is that you don't seem to have a neighbourhood with local shops, you always have to drive. Also because it's a big country you seem to spend many hours driving the boys places. Sometimes over an hour for sport. When they are older Stacey, you will have much more time for yourself and Russ. In the UK shops, pubs, clubs etc are local for access by bike, walk, bus. Life sure is different

The United States IS a very big country and they live in the biggest state IN the country. So yes, in areas like that, driving to get to places is a must. Because it's a 'suburban' area. Especially in states which were added to the Union later after we formed the country. If you live in a more urban area or in one of the older states like the 13 original colonies (I live in one) then you have many small towns where shops are in fact within walking distance. The country is very diverse that way. In fact, it's SO large that one can go from one state to another half way across the country and you would feel like you are in another country because the lifestyle is so different.

I should wear gloves!!! I need to get some! When Lucy was a puppy every time we would take her outside we would set her in front of the door & use her paw to ring the bell, she just figured out that that meant she got to go outside. It’s great bc it gets our attention!

The dog I had when I was a boy used to ring the bell too when she wanted to come inside. However she learned how to do that on her own. We never figured out how. She knew when the bell rang someone was at the door, but I could never figure out how she knew the button would make the bell ring!
