It is not exactly legendary , it was the highest end gpu that amd could offer at that time and it was supposed to compete with a gtx 1080 at the time. So yea it makes sense that it will get playable frames at all games. By today's amd standards it is like using an rx 6600 or rx 6600xt. Little worse than 6600xt but yea

Amazing how capable this system is. I build this for my cousin in late 2020 for around 1100 € and she can run almost every game at 1440p and 60FPS. And the games still looks better than on consoles.

I had one of those before I upgraded and it never got to hot max settings really pushing the card on 1440p id maybe hit 66 degrees Celsius on it so nothing to worry about

Get a 3600x, pcie 4 compatible, dirt cheap compared to a 5500, same performance as 5500 as far as I've researched and experience, you won't be needing an expensive cooler to cool a 3600x as it really has low thermals and low power draw.

Long ago i had 5700 XT Aorus.... It seems i should get back to it. user 5700 XT red devil or Nitro + are around 150$. It seems you can game flawlessly for very cheap is you select proper parts. instead of 3600 i would get 5700x or 5700x3d and thats it, still a very cheap PC that can run anything for next couple years.

i've seen a few benchmarks and it's like a 9 to 14% difference depending on the game (6-8 fps in AAA and 20-30 in competitive or less demanding games). if you find a good 5700 model that can handle Oc then it's almost no difference between them. Anyway, they're both good for 1080p gaming, just avoid cards that have less than 8Gb vram
