RX 590 Sapphire Nitro+ Thermal Pads replacment 2024

Have you ever tried underclocking and undervolting the RX 590? I was able to reduce the wattage from 180 to 110 watts and lower the temperature by 12 degrees Celsius. I recommend underclocking and undervolting the RX 590 because it results in only minor performance differences while significantly reducing wattage and temperature. For reference, before undervolting and underclocking, the temperature in Apex Legends was between 72°C and 75°C; now it’s between 59°C and 63°C. BTW, nice content.

Na kościach pamięci i zasilaniu dałeś pady o grubości 0,5 mm. Na filmie widać, że fabrycznie na backplacie była pasta, a dałeś tam pad termoprzewodzący. Dlaczego? Jakiej był on grubości?

This card is supposed to use 0.75mm pads like the rx 580. I had problems with double layer of 0.5mm. What brand of pads are you using? Also, my temp in cyberpunk are 77°C max (around 25-26°C in my room) so i think i'm ok... Good video thank you!

@@antoinedrela794 hi, thanks for comment, it's depends who is manufacturer, in my case (rx 590, sapphire nitro +) they used this pads, so i use the same. I didn't use some branded pads, i find on ebay some with 4 W/m-k thermal conductivity (around 10$), and use them. Anyway, your's temp are good for gaming. 😉

very nice video and helpfully but i have question i have the same card with you and i want to change the thermal pad becaouse i didint change that from 2018 i have the arctic thermal pad 145x145x05mm the give better temperture? thanks for your time

did you know a GPU can raise the temperature in a room by 1-2 degrees celsius? its a lose during the winter time, 2 degrees in a room is a lot for the gas bill :P just saying :))
