This is a great intake kit for the RX-7. I love it. I love the sound of the blow-off valve and the extra intake suction noise. You will hear some growling from the open hose that vents the air pump air when not being directed to the exhaust. Also, make sure to reset your ECU!

Changed the intake snorkle on my NSX. Induction noise is so much better now. Intakes don't make power on a stock msx. But for the sound alone its worth it.

I did the same, definitely made a difference. I think the search for more sounds is so understated. Definitely adds alot to the driving experience.

Tuning is always a joy! The 13B REW Engine is truly one of those unique designs which there really isn't anything else that matches! I can only imagine what it's like to drive it!

I have a similar set up and want to change out the top rubber air intake pipe hose an aluminum hard pipe, all I've have seen is cheap ebay options and they dont look as long as the oem ones. Wondering if you or anyone else has done this and hwere they got that pipe of so?

I am with you, I am thinking of getting the HKS RS kit because it implements the air pump hose into the aluminum pipe on their CAI kit.

No, they are for the air pump. This air intake was ok, I didn’t like the sound of the air pump hose. In the OEM setup, you don’t hear it because it vents to the intake air box enclosure.

@@DriversTherapy how do you feel about HKS conversion kit? It looks a little bit better in my opinion even though all I hear in Florida is petit is the way to go.

what ecu are you using？ are you suppose tune the ecu after install？

I just reset my ecu and car is running fine. A good rule of thumb is to make sure you have a aftermarket boost gauge and watch your boost levels. You don’t not want any spikes or over boosting.
