Thanks again for sharing, I don't see anyone being as thorough as you. The electronics seem to be a bit tricky, getting the GM ECM & the Mazda ECM to communicate or going the cambus or Holley route. Getting all the lights & gauges to work will be bittersweet. When I do mine, I'd like it legitimately road legal. Can't wait for the next one!

Fellow Minneapolis red LS rx8 builder here, looking forward to the wiring video. I'm planning on buying the ls1rx8 kit (no welder) your videos have been pretty helpful.

"If you don't look at them, they won't be bad" 😆 Very excited to see the LX-8 running! (I took the liberty to name your car)

Any issue with intake fitment due to head milling?
@EazyOnCars3 жыл бұрын
Nope, the intake is surprisingly resilient to small changes.

So great man, thanks a lot for doing these videos. I've have been thinking of doing this for about a year now. Just found an 08 that I think will work. This gives me a really good idea what this swap will be like. Although what I'm more concerned about is wiring, intake, cooling set up brake equipment, AC pump and such. Not much of a Faber, will Steve have all that I need in his kits? His kits just look like mounting hardware, seems as though there's more I'll need for the finished product. Again thanks for these videos!
