2024, the 20 year tour of The Resignation baby!! Ow!! My baby faced 22 yr old self was out in that crowd. First festival, first time traveling halfway across country without friends, and totally unforgettable memories. Bonnaroo blows now. Fast forward, I’m now 38 and Matt Embree still gives me chills. Absolutely one my favorite bands of all time!

I loved how they set up the bass directly next the drummer... made the bass and rhythm section that much more noticeable and prominent, which I think a lot of bands have lost in our day and age. :/

Because these exact recordings are on their live album. That kinda upset me cuz I listened to all the youtube videos religiously before the album came out and when I bought the album I realized they were the same. Either way I was still blessed by the music from the heavens :)

@drum: You don't need a great voice to make great music, it sucks sheets is gone his horn parts really brought a cool element to their music and he was a good guy that was around a really long time. Him leaving may be for the best, idk, but I don't think sheet's voice was ever a negative or a concern.
