Did anyone ever think Sharpay & Ryan were the good people in the movie? She just tested what they were loyal to. Sharpay & Ryan were loyal to making the Drama Club better, Troy was loyal to Gabriella & Basketball, & Gabriella was loyal to the decathlon team & Troy. Troy & Gabriella’s friends tried to break them up. At the end, Sharpay still congratulates Gabriella on winning even though they were late both times. HSM2, she gave him a scholarship (didn’t kiss him or kill gabi) just to sing with her and he didn’t do that. She still joined in the song after crying from Ryan turning on her. HSM3: She’s the only person that didn’t get to go to the school she wanted, but was picked to be head of the drama club. Sharpay isn’t desperate, she’s just committed at making it in the world (and she congratulates people who get picked over her).
