I'm only on episode 1 of season 2 and it's just incredible. Everything about it. The music really sets the tone. And whoever was in charge of the music selection knocked it outa the park. Seriously.

shairee roy-As a transcendentalist who believes our spirits go on as pure energy when our shells break down, I say ditto. They turned to light, which is pure energy. Eventually, when the soul is ready, it finds paradise as pure energy forever. No more pain, no more suffering. No more abuse or neglect, no more negativity. We reach Nirvana & are not enveloped in darkness, in complete & ultimate death, which was exactly what Adam wanted, but despite Eva’s lies, she didn’t. I can’t say I’m sure that’s what happens after death, but I have hope invested in it because at this point, I’ve had enough of everything negative piling up in my life when I try my hardest to be good to people & pay things forward. Wanna know my reward for that this past Sunday? I was assaulted by a little waste of life of a violent teenage girl who thinks she’s above everyone else, although she’s nothing but a piece of ghetto trash who’s a clear menace to society. Definitely no future Maya Angelou, there...huh. I was sucker-smashed over the head with a thick glass bottle of liquor just because she was looking for a fight, but I’m very ill with a rare disease that gave me liver disease & two blood disorders & my blood is very thin. I didn’t go down, though she could’ve killed me-I chased her & wiped the blood gushing from my head all over her. After cops & EMT came, she got away with three teenage juvenile delinquent males in a plateless black Audi stolen from a dealer lot.Today the detective on my case called & they caught her & charged her with assault & battery with a deadly weapon. And what do I get today? My day ruined because my stupid boyfriend (and even though I love him I’ve had enough) got uppity with me because HE didn’t have the decency to respond to texts & calls I sent him after I had no time to let him know I needed to go to the bank before it closed. He knew I called him, & he just ignored mout of spite-four days after I was brutally assaulted. And my father is insane & abusive-he laughed at me when I returned from the hospital, too. My mother yelled at me. Sometimes I just wish it would all just end like that; like I’m not supposed to be here (including in this house of horrors), & I just want peace. It’s strange-I’m a Green Witch & I help people with my gifts. My mother is bedridden, & despite my own illness, I try to do as much as I can while my father steals her money, insults & yells at her, and calls her horrible names. I feel I should’ve never been born to them & believe that either my grandmother should have been my mother or my uncle should’ve been my father. They’re both gone, & my uncle was often my protection. That’s one huge reason why time travel is so fascinating to me-it actually IS scientifically possible, but not without the substance with enough mass to bend space-time into a loop. If I could go back 33 years, I would’ve run away. I have to agree with Noah-people are bad, and there is no “God.” Sorry to impose like this, but my wounds are fresh, and I’m not talking about the ones on my head & face. But you hit the nail on the head-the ending was incredibly satisfying, despite it’s being bittersweet.

shairee roy I would be. I know how it feels to not wanna say certain things when, even if you’ve been strong enough to go to hell & back, but sometimes you just have to let it out or you feel like you’re gonna explode because no one truly understands. It’s ironic how you want support (yet not as a victim, but to be blessed to have someone to speak to who understands & is unbiased) & oftentimes you don’t get it from those closest to you, but a mere kind stranger can be the ear for which you’ve been searching, sympathetic or empathetic & always willing to lend that ear to someone who feels lost or stuck.💖
