guy calls him a 15-time national champ like that means soothing in the pros when all of Ryans peers (Lomachenko, Davis, Stevens, Lopez and Haney) have won world titles 2 and 3 times over. There is no doubt that he has fought 3 legit guys in Duarte, Campbell, Davis but that's 3 of 25 fights. Ryan is the most inexperienced and the has accomplished the least in terms of competition and championship fights. IMO this should be Haney v Ryan pt 2 , part 3 and 4 at 147. same goes with all the dogs at 35 and 40, by the time they get to 47 everyone should have fought at least 2 times.

I believe the fight with Floyd was catch weight no ? Anyhow I also go with the contract. If two men sign a contract, then you are saying I'm confident, focused, and 100% ready for the fight. Skills pay the bills. And I think catch weight is all apart of negotiating a fight. Even rehydration clauses are fine, as long as both fighters agree, you can't go back in time and b1tch about clauses after you lose. (Like Ryan lol)

Haney is the most overrated boxer in this era. His resume is trash. His fanboys only look at the belts and title attached to his name by getting those belts. They ignore the dudes he beat to snatch those belts. Haney, a natural 165-170 pounder who is 3 times physically bigger, stayed at 135 for almost his whole career and didn’t even fight half of the top elite threats. He was given an email belt, defended it against washed past their prime boxers and a fucking 130 lbs Jojo Diaz. Sad part is that an old Linares hurt Haney for a whole round, and JOJO Diaz was cracking him too while Haney couldn’t even put a dent in either of them. Then, Haney waited for the perfect and easiest way to snatch the belts to become “undisputed”. George Kambosos beat Teo and Haney and his dad jumped up and down like some little girls bc they didn’t have to fight Teo, and knew Kambosos would give Haney a chance bc Kambosos is a true champion. Kambosos is half Haneys size with a style that is tailor made for Haney to handicap and beat with no worries. Haney’s fans TRASHED Kambosos and said he had no skills. But as soon as Haney beat Kambosos, Haney’s fans and Haney’s garbage ass biased media commentators were saying that Haney was the best and “sacrificed” to become “undisputed” 😂 guys like Loma and Kambosos have sacrificed their whole careers by fighting in enemy territory and fighting dudes that were deemed better with the slightest chance of beating them. They both have proved so many US boxing fans and media wrong and they became salty. Haney travels to Australia a couple of times to fight a natural 130-135 pounder who is half his size, beat him, amd acted like he did some legendary shit, “defeating the odds” that THEY made up in their head to juice up Haney’s name and accolades. Haney fought ONE top boxer at 135 who was a stylistic threat, and he was immediately exposed by getting his ass whooped by the old Loma that they said Haney would EASILY whoop and make it look easy 😂 you can’t make this shit up. After being gifted that “win”, Haney then ran to the 140 division, like the vulture he is bc he saw a lesser, easy opponent with a belt that he could again, easily swoop down and snatch to add towards his caked up name/achievements. Regis Prograis, a guy who didn’t even start boxing until he was 17 years old, a guy Haney was STILL bigger than, a guy who is slow, and a guy who has the flattest feet in boxing 🤦‍♂️ and again, the Haney’s tried to sell their naive ignorant fans on Regis being the “best” at 140, therefore that makes Haney the “best” at 140 😂 it’s all a fucking fake ass business strategy to protect Haney, getting him the least threatening opponents who just so happen to have belts or a belt they can steal. If you don’t see the pattern by now, then you’re way too far up Haney’s ass, no Diddy. Undisputed means jack shit if you didn’t clear out that division to prove you’re undisputed. Same goes for any title you get. If you didn’t fight a risky, threatening top elite boxer to obtain that belt, it doesn’t make you great in book of real legends. It just makes you look like a boxer who has a pimp for a dad, and a smart business promoting team who created and sold you as being a boxing legend FACADE. It’s all about money, winning titles in the safest way possible, and the need to be popular/well known. There’s only a handful of true throwback boxers who are taking real risks by fighting opponents that should beat them, but they prove them wrong and become legends.

Ryan suffers from pathological narcissism. His self-worth and peace of mind are highly dependent on how he is perceived or how he thinks he is perceived by others. Since his loss to Tank he suffers from the belief that he is perceived weak publicly and he aims to correct that by portraying himself as a villain. The idea is that being perceived as the bad guy will equate to being perceived as a strong guy. Unfortunately for him, all this perceiving and being perceived has very little to do with someone's boxing abilities and the energy that he has put into being perceived a certain way is clearly absent from his fight readiness. Expect these theatrics to go up in flames once the fight starts. You don't box based on other people's opinion but based on a rigorous assessment of your opponent's and your own abilities.
