Kudos to both but truth be told alot of the Haney backlash is also based on his father's continuous yapping. Haney needed this fight to learn lots of lessons. The fact that Haney knew more about Ryan from previous history than Tank did going into his fight with Ryan but Tank was still congnizent to be aware of Ryan's left hook goes to show Haney underestimated Ryan and didn't think his left hook was that good. If Haney faced Tank, he would not have been getting up at all from those punches. The ref also aided in him staying up with that EXCESSIVE HOLDING. He deserved to have a point deduction and there was none to be found. Hopefully going forward Haney and his father will pipedown will learn from this going forward.

It is a lame excuse and if he won versus Tank it would have been the same excuse you would have used to say Ryan won despite being rehydrated. Both fighters were under the rehydration clause so it was not a one way situation.

Tank still shouldn't get much credit for beating him since he forced those conditions on him and also got leaked information that Ryan got an injury to his body and took advantage of that in the fight. If it was on a totally even playing field, no weight draining, no rehydration clause, and no injury, then he can get all the credit in the world. But he admitted he was afraid of fighting Ryan without those things, so that's takes away from the win in my opinion.
