This was the best interview I have seen with Ryan Gosling about The Grey Man. You could see he was impressed with your film references and research.

never thought that ryan gosling could handle a big scene train-and-plane combo. it should be titled the gray man: breath-taker (subtitled: thank you russo brothers) the drown scene at the maze is one class act. both visually and psychologically (character's mind)
@Fosterdid2 жыл бұрын
the plane scene did it for ya? That diving out of the plane didn't look remotely real to me for a single millisecond...felt like a weightless cgi project, didn't feel risky or thrilling at all. Moonraker has a better plane scene. Nolan's movies and stunners like Top Gun make scenes like that just look pathetic. 200 million dollarss and you had to fake your way through this nonsensically edited skydive ending in a bizarre cut where I guess he captures the parachute guy but it's not really shown....Russo's are making galaxy-size deals with international movie conglomerates, and it's just so commercial, mercenary and cheesy. AND all these interveiwers sort of flubbing by sayig it's got "big screen" action, meanwhile it's for people who watch movies on phones....OH and playing vintage pop tunes over action scenes to be all subversive and playful is so overdone now, the idea is basically dead on arrival. Whole movie is derivitave, and whatever practical stunt-work may have been involved is completely lost during airbrushed neo-politan skylines and video-game train pieces that will look dated in about a week. Beginning sequence is alright though, right up until the fireworks thing where it looks like a 40 million dollar first-time action movie...

Just finished the gray man. Dude, it's amazing. Everyone involved did a great job. Thank you to the team that made this production. I couldn't help but notice "the message" was no where to be found. Keep that up and movies may come back to being worth watching.

At first I wasn’t excited for this movie because I’m not an action movie gal... but saw it yesterday and few seconds in... i was hooked! It was interesting from beginning to end. The humor was funny which sometimes doesn’t go well with action.

I want to see if Six actually develops some family type connections since he took off with the girl at the end...and she had referenced that his ties to her uncle sorta made them "family"... that would be a cool dynamic because she is a sarcastic spunky person to play off of.
