PIZZA CUTTER.. I use a pizza cutter to cut brownies, cake(single layer), cookie bars, pancakes, bacon into bacon bits....I use it for a lot of things!

The Queen’s Gambit is based on our area here in Lexington, KY. I don’t think any scenes were filmed here, but I get so excited every time they mention “New Circle Road” (a road we frequent) or any other Kentucky reference. Ramen with canned chicken is the best! I thought it was just me that thought that. I also put in a cube of chicken bouillon and a dash of hot sauce or some red pepper flakes.

I used to get chicken in a can all the time, they had a local organic brand and mix it with the microwavable rice cups. It's actually really good.

I'm not a cold weather person either. In southern Alberta before Christmas years back, I was shoveling through about 4 feet of new snow over 2 feet of packed snow. I had impulse purchased a tricked out 4 x 4 with a big shell on the back. I called my brother who was living in Vancouver BC, all my brothers and parents had moved out there. I was in the Armed Forces and missed the exodus. I ask him what he is doing, and he was about to mow the lawn in the warm breeze. I packed up and hit the road, as I crossed over the Rocky mountain passes I slowly left the snow behind. As I traveled down the other side I was met with lush green forests, and beautiful green farm fields. I had about another 7 hour drive to my brothers. As I happily sped through the balmy night I noticed a tiny splat on the wind shield, then another, then more getting, larger, which then became large sticky snow flakes. Within an hour I was in the worst blizzard to strike southern BC in 50 years. I passed abandoned cars, tucks, and one snow plow that had driven off the road. People in BC had no clue as to how to drive in the snow. I got lost and somehow wound up at the USA boarder half an hour from my brothers, the US guard was very nice and polite, said I couldn't turn around, to just go through, turn and come back to Canada. The Canadian guard was a nightmare. I was stuck for about half hour arguing with every one in the station that my truck load of things were not purchased in the states. Finally a supervisor showed up, and after explaining for the 10th time what happened he let me in. To this day I am blamed by my family for bringing snow back to BC. 😁

@@itsthedonnellys Hi, yes, in Surrey half hour drive from Vancouver, or a couple hours depending on traffic. Beautiful locations, beaches, mountains, camping, fishing. Hollywood North, tons of movies, TV series filmed around here. Livin' happy. 😊

Ryan, once again, showing he's got the wisdom - old clothes are the best clothes. Why change what works? If he's planning to jump in the snow, thats like what German people do after they've been in the sauna. I visited friends there once, it was a huge culture shock - roasting hot from the sauna and then running outside to jump in the snow, then back into the sauna to warm back up (all without wearing anything!!!). 🥶

So today's vlog reminded me of an event that occurred some time ago. ...Jesus went away to the other side of the Sea of Galilee (or Tiberias). A large crowd was following Him, because they were watching the signs which He was performing on those who were sick. But Jesus went up on the mountain, and there He sat with His disciples. Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was near. So Jesus, after raising His eyes and seeing that a large crowd was coming to Him, said to Philip, “Where are we to buy bread so that these people may eat?” But He was saying this only to test him, for He Himself knew what He intended to do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not enough for them, for each to receive just a little!” One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to Him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are these for so many people?” Jesus said, “Have the people recline to eat.” Now there was plenty of grass in the place. So the men reclined, about five thousand in number. Jesus then took the loaves, and after giving thanks He distributed them to those who were reclining; likewise also of the fish, as much as they wanted. And when they had eaten their fill, He said to His disciples, “Gather up the leftover pieces so that nothing will be lost.” So they gathered them up, and filled twelve baskets with pieces from the five barley loaves which were left over by those who had eaten. Therefore when the people saw the sign which He had performed, they said, “This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.” And I'm wondering if Jesus was physically here now what he might do with Katie's Ramen Noodles and brownie.😂 What made me happy today: Still rejoicing over the news of a friend of the Donnellys coming to know Christ recently. That is such terriffic news!

Nice I got my Sign Language Certificate but not becoming an interupter but I want to become knowing people who wants to photography shop mine in the future somewhere in Colorado Springs but I'll see until next year. Wondering why Katie's loving sign language to know deaf culture and other stuff? It'll be nice to learn in College if she wants to learn more deaf culture for deaf events and stuff. :)
