@2MOEJOE_ I think it's just that's what some of us older guys like I'm 44 it's what we grew up with and it's kind of just like when fuel injection came out in drag racing everybody swore that carburetors were better same type of deal nobody wants to s*** on what they grew up with and what they know
@kylelangworthy96413 жыл бұрын
@2MOEJOE_ that's what I was saying is the four strokes just makes so much more sense besides having better traction and making power from idle to redline it's a no-brainer put gas in and ride I just thought it was pretty cool Rhino can jump on a bike that old and still be competitive but look who it is one of the best trainers out there

Actually he flat out said his modern style and techniques didn't work with the old bikes completely different geometry. It took him a couple moto to figure out how to ride the thing. Definitely a showcase of his versatility and bike control.

If you watch *Hughes* was taking the outside to keep up the momentum of the *2-Stroke* this is why I believe they should allow the *250 2-Stroke* to race the *250 4-Stroke* at least outdoors. It would is *2-Stroke* lovers while improving the racing using the high revs of the *2-Stroke* or the low torque of the *4-Stroke* but also they're cheaper especially the race & maintain would benefit privateers & smaller teams not to mention the public

@dormantmenace3 жыл бұрын
Ya 2 strokes are not high reving in comparison to modern 4 strokes. That's a totall misconception based on sound. Especially the higher the displacement. Alot of good mx 2 strokes were bottom to mid range bikes with nothing on top. A yz 250 is signing off at 8-9 thousand rpm. We're a 450 is just making peak numbers and signing off around 12,000. It only becomes a larger margin with the 250 4t making peak numbers at 13,000 rpm.
@familystuntteam4763 жыл бұрын
So there is no outlawing of the two strokes racing outdoors in either classes. Carson Brown just raced a 250 2 stroke against the 450’s at washougal

Not long after this he was paralyzed for the third time breaking his neck on the bike during a practice... got lucky again with regaining mobility and walked the hard road of another neck surgery and recovery. After multiple fusions the majority of his neck and back are fused, he can barley move his head or bend over now. He officially (he's done it multiple times) hung up the boots for good, which I think is a smart decision. He's a legend of both racing and training, I hope he sticks around in the sport and isn't bitter and walks away completely.
