Have to admit I've done a 180 on Ryan. Hated his attitude when he came into NFL but love his honesty and humility now. Hope he can help others before they get to that bad place.

Whenever Ryan Leaf interviews its a must see for me. Love how he continues to put old demons to rest while being comfortable with owning up to his mistakes. That's something that most men will never be able to do. Not to mention, solid opinions on the current NFL.

I’ve been a chargers fan since 78. I don’t ever remember seeing a QB have less time to throw a ball than in that game Vs the Ravens. That defense of front was so good. I think Leaf only completed 2 passes that day.

Julian Edelman was a option QB at Kent State in Ohio, the NE Patriots drafted him in the 7th round, they told him they were going to transform him into an NFL WR, he said ok let’s do this, he was Super Bowl LIII MVP because he decided he was going to be what the NE Patriots needed him to be, a team player. Tim Tebow could have been a pass catching RB/FB/TE hybrid for the Patriots but he wasn’t willing to go along with what NE had in mind, this was before Super Bowl XLIX vs Seattle, I guarantee Tim Tebow would have been an excellent RB/FB/TE hybrid, he was a tremendous athlete, but he didn’t want to take this route, he would have at least two Rings with NE, maybe 3 or 4, maybe he would have been a co rainmaker with 12 but we’ll never know because he wasn’t even willing to try and that’s why he never made it in the NFL, he had a tunnel vision desire to be a QB and nothing else, imo he might have even carved out a hall of fame career had he chose the RB/FB/TE hybrid role NE wanted to transform him into but he chose to continually disregard the NE coaches NFL expertise in determining what the athlete can do, they see what you can be, but if you don’t give it a chance it’ll become a wasted opportunity. This is the Tim Tebow NFL story, he didn’t want to listen to what other ppl thought he should do.

That's hilarious. I eat and write with my left hand and do everything else right handed. When I was a kid I REALLY wanted to throw (a baseball) left handed but I always would feel that "labored motion" they're talking about.

I don’t agree that the Dolphins will have to win the division in order for Tua to remain the starting QB in Miami. If they can make the playoffs as a wild card, and Tua shows enough improvement under Mike McDaniel, then they will keep him as their starter.

Why couldn’t Tim Tebow stay in the NFL? He couldn’t throw thanks to his elongated throwing motion. Plus, NCAA offenses, NCAA hashmarks, and NCAA defenses made him look better than he was even though, in college, he was a great player.

Tim Tebow is not the GOAT of college QB's Tim was surrounded by elite talent.
@The_0G_Chad2 жыл бұрын
I love Ryan leaf. But I’m so sick of this Brady doesn’t have an elite arm narrative. When Brady plants his feet and steps into the ball there are very few quarterbacks in the league that have his velocity and accuracy mixed. Most the guys who here have a cannon for an arm do not know how to deliver balls with touch. They do not know how to spin the ball with the velocity and still be accurate…. Tom Brady is the king of that. Also it’s just a lie, Tom house has been clocking Tom Brady in at 60 mph and Josh Allen is 62 miles an hour at his very hardest. Where Brady dropped off a little is when he doesn’t have his feet planted. But Brady’s arm according to Tom house who worked with 4700 quarterbacks is 94th percentile in velocity when he plants his feet he’s 99.8% when he tests velocity times throwing that ball into tight windows. No one in the league has his accuracy and velocity mixed except Aaron Rodgers

It’s because the nfl is a perception first trash league that over emphasizes individuals over the team in a team sport which is weird. And college has always been more team first success by any means I.e. a running qb etc that’s why the gators won all the time with Tebow and these nfl geniuses who are obsessed with optics and a lot of other non football related matters can’t have him around because his throw angle is weird. The whole thing is odd oh yeah and he talked about Jesus a lot guess that’s a no no I wonder why?

So unless your the best at something you can’t give good advice? Other peoples failures can be a lesson for someone else

Because he made his mistakes, he’s learned from them, and he owns up to them. Sometimes the best people to take advice from are those who are very flawed.
