I absolutely agree with Ryan's statement concerning how Veterans are portrayed in many cases. Either the stoic hero or the broken victim as i have heard it said by others. There are millions of us in that middle ground (in Australia, the U.S, U.k, Canada and other allied nations) who don't necessarily need a "hand out" but just a "hand up" and we are grateful there are organisations out there like IGY6 or like in Australia SoldierOn, Mates4Mates and Veterans and Veteran's family counselling service that give that type of service of a hand up. Morale is important to military cultures and it would be beneficial to Veterans and their communities to see a better balance of stories of those people who faced their challenges once they returned and have recovered and thrived rather than seeing too much of the extreme edges (the hero or the victim) i know those stories are important to address but i also feel that showing that "middle ground" can help.

I absolutely love and what is doing with/for Veterans and the respect that he has for our service men & women.. He's amazing, the show is amazing.. I look forward to seeing much more.... Ryan, with how good and how dedicated you are, have you thought about maybe going through the academy to be a police officer? I think you'd fit right in. Your willingness and passion would make you a great cop. . somethin to think about.

Yup! It is a great show! I was only watching 3 shows last year. Supernatural, How To Get Away with Murder and Ray Donovan. I added this show and fell so freakin' in love with the script, the action, the narration, the acting ... and of course, have been a fan of Ryan so had to give a try. So happy I found a replacement for Banshee. I was devastated when that ended but oh well.. shows go on and now I have 4.

I watched the 1st ep and loved it, I've binged watched the 1st season, am now on the finale, I just stopped to have a look at talk on KZbin (I'm scared incase his daughter dies) then pop back. If you get this message could you give me a wee bit of detail about ray Donovan, never heard of it, but you obviously have taste. Supernatural has been my stable for years lol and HTGAWM is amazing, so I trust your judgement lol, cheers
