The Bears organization is a mess. It seems to me that they have decent players, but don't use them correctly. For instance, they are wedded to their cover2 scheme. That defense requires a team to have a stone cold pass rushing, run stuffing defensive tackle(Warren Sapp). They don't have that type of player on their roster. So why would you play that defense? Furthermore, they have fabulous bump and run corners. Terrell Smith, are you kidding me? This dude is a stone cold cover corner. So is Tyrique Stevenson when he isn't goofing off. Hell, teams don't even throw Jaylon Johnsons way. Correction; they do because he's 8 YARDS OFF THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE. That's insane! Since they don't have a decent pass rush, they should stack the line of scrimmage and play man to man. On offense, D'Andre Swift should carry the ball at least 30 times a game. Caleb Williams shouldn't be throwing the ball 40 times a game behind a suspect offensive line. As far as the draft, they need 2 guards, a center, and that killer defensive tackle. My guy in the upcoming draft is Xavier Watts from Notre Dame, a defensive back. That's not an area of need on the Bears, but I'd figure out a way to get that youngster on the team. There's just something about that guy. He always seems to make game changing plays. Finally, another thing I've noticed about the Bears is that they don't have elite team speed. No ones running a 4.3 40 on that team. I keep hearing about a receiver named Tyler Scott who is supposed to be really fast, but he doesn't even get on the field on offense. Typical Bears. Anyway, that's my take on Chicago. The administration, Poles and Warren, and ownership is a mess, but I don't thing the team is that far off. The right head coach and coordinators should do the trick.

A stud left tackle is the hardest position to get after QB. And they NEVER get to free agency. If you can get one with the first pick, take him. It will be the first time they will have bookend stud tackles since Covert and Van Horn 40 yrs ago. The draft is loaded with D Linemen well into the 4th rd. There are only 2 really good left tackles.

Pole has to get credit for his drafting and creating cap space. The problem is how will the better coaching candidates see the situation they are in. And will they want to come here. Right now Calib is the draw...hope that's enough. Having a young franchise QB should be a big plus. As a fan I want them to be able to get their 1st choice. In actuallity, the Panthers fleeced themselves. They seen that #1 overall pick and over paid for it, so that is on them. As for Thomas Brown, I like him as the OC. That he did great at. As for a HC, I do not think any team is looking at him as their new HC. I do not think he is ready for that step. So retaining him as the OC, in my opinion would be a wise choice, and bring in either Johnson or Vrable as the HC.

Fire Poles and Bring in John Dorsey to run Football Operations and let Kevin Warren do his thing with Stadium but don;t let him decide Football Operations because he is clueless like Poles. Dorsey can then hire Ben Johnson who works with John Dorsey in Detroit to be the next Bears Coach. both GM and Coach on same page. Dorsey is man behind the scenes making things successful for Lions . Also trade Crybaby for a # 1 and make Bagent the starter .
