The biggest problem with She-Huck and Ms. Marvel wasn't them being led by a woman, but that they wouldn't stop going on about it. Play your hero, play them straight, but only talk about things that move the story forward. If you did that, maybe you would make a movie that makes some money. It's not the audience's fault that the writers aren't writing a good story, it's the writers or the writers bosses. Be the female hero, show what a woman can do when she's put to the test and that will be your political message, a great woman accomplishing great things. I have nothing against Tatiana Maslany but some actors were made to play certain roles she was not it. Even if no one knew who shehulk was she didn't make the character come to life. It felt like a show about Tatiana with women issues not shehulk and her adversaries in the comics. Many other shows portrayed comic book characters with the lore of the comics. If someone saw a show about a comic book character they would go out and do research wanting to know more about the character. I saw the show portray shehulk as a character who hates men or wants to prove she is better than them, complain about women issues with her friends, and being promiscuous wanting to be one of the guys. Ryan Reynolds knows what the audience wants. I can't think of someone who has said there was a part in the movie they didn't like. Tatiana makes it seem like shehulk would have made the movie. It would be best for disney to release the deleted scenes so the audience can decide for themselves was Ryan right about the scenes not fitting in the movie. Even WB took a huge loss in making Batgirl only to cancel it the last minute. Sometimes being true to the content is worth more than the money. I respect people and their identities but the fact is woke content is boring. Everything feels watered down because you can't say or show something without offending somebody else.
