In the defense of this cheater. Legally he may either be the primary owner or half-owner of the property. So, she has no immediate legal right to force him or even ask him to leave and he does not have to comply. As long as neither side are being physically, emotionally (actively, cheating in and of itself unfortunately isn't considered as abusive behavior), and/or mentally abused. Here best bet, IF she wants to make a serious move is... 1. Talk to a lawyer to see if she can move. Some states don't allow co-parents to relocate if it puts a strain one custody rights of the parents. 2. Take the "l" on the material things. Sometimes we place so much value on the places we are at or the things we got, even to the determent of what is best for us and others who may be affected by our choices (like children). Or even better, make sure everything gets annotated, priced, and then send them into the lawyer so just in case they cannot be recovered, she may be able to get something for it. 3. Save up money (and/or ask for assistance) and make the move to be back closer to family. Most families will help family who are in need. 4. Pack up that which is reasonable (some clothing, maybe some toys) and go. Sometimes the best start to life is by starting with the necessities and rebuilding from there. While I did not move due to divorce or anything like that. But a few of these things I had to do when I moved in with my brother and his family several years ago and now that I have been in my own place for over decade, I have gotten back more than what I had to give up. And a lot of it I wound up throwing away when I went back to do cleaning at the last place I lived.

I’m not defending the husband here, but it looks like he was wanting a more spiced up sex life and the wife said that she’s just not having it. Sounds a little prudish to me. Perhaps they were just not compatible in that dept. which can definitely disrupt and/or end a marriage.

Inspite of what was said here (meaning the guy cheating). Here is why I would send someone intimate/romantic things to hold onto for a s.o. and here are some of the reasons why... 1. If an s.o. is a snoop, I would do this to prevent them from seeing what I have for them 2. If we are going to have an intimate/romantic encounter elsewhere, I may have someone stage the area before we get there. So, in my opinion, there are at least 2 good reasons why someone would send intimate/romantic things to someone other than to the s.o.
