While the music industry worships him from the inside, I just wish more people knew how multidimensional he is. OneRepublic is my favorite band but Ryan Tedder is so much more.

This guy is the real deal. He is using a language that maybe a lot of people don't completely understand...but the ability to cross genres and understand song and style concepts in a way that is efficient, plus having the ability to connect on a human level with artists and other production team members is a highly developed skill set. What he says about right/left brain capabilities is absolutely true. Those who can switch back and forth and have talent in each are a serious force in any field, but especially in music or any entertainment related industry. I realize that Tedder may seem a bit long-winded on this video at times, but he is literally giving the viewer gem after gem of what it's like and what it takes in that world. Inspiring.

In the culture where I come from, there's a idiom says "Even the sky avoids the time for meals to collapse/crash" meaning whatever happens when the man are having meals, nothing should be more in priority.
