Actually, he did not hire his friends. He hired his rivals. Both KAT AND VAN were two very dope solo artists on their own w/o Ryan. They decided to all Linked up after seeing each others work and to create an all black tattoo parlor. They became like family during this process. Van is right that he and Kat, along with Ryan helped to build the cliente and create the atmosphere that even warranted a show. However, they also did not pay booth rent for a long time to Ryan as well. Its complex, but he may have to do like Kat and move on. She was always the dopest artist in the shop, IMO anyway.

I'm so glad that everybody agrees with tattoo owner Ryan Henry. he used his sister's money and opened up his tattoo shop and hired his friends as tattoo artists. these workers must help out and pay a part of the monthly rent while tattooing clients. that's all they have to do, and they are not paying taxes or anything. Ryan has to pay his yearly taxes with his own money made and saved from the tattoo shop. It;s a legit business. He give parties using his own money made. He takes them on trips and pays for everyones hotel room from his pocket.
