The issue is when the string rolls or moves in the roller, or if the saddle isn't properly screwed in place. There are a lot of tech tip videos on KZbin to keep the string from catching on the cam (chapstick), or rolling in the saddle (soldering ball ends).

If it's set up properly it should stay in tune. Most questions about tuning stability we get here turn out to have nothing to do with the bridge. There are some really good tech videos out there on KZbin, and feel free to contact us if you have questions.

No,never. I love Kahler tremolos. I have them on 3 of my 5 guitars(the other 2 are fixed bridges). Otherwise for me,if it doesn't have a Kahler I'd much rather have a fixed bridge than use a Floyd Rose. They are so easy to change strings,have wider range,better feel,you can adjust them to fit any guitar's fretboard radius,string spacing,action,any way you want! If you want the best Kahler though,get the Kahler 7300,cause you can go from fixed bridge to floating with a simple hex key turn!

Do you notice less sustain with a Kahler vs. a Floyd? I've read several reviews that state this, however, I've got a Flyer and don't notice any real sustain difference. Just wondering if you've had that experience.
@metalheadsunite10 жыл бұрын
the kahler should have more sustain cus there is no rear routing meaning less wood is cut out, and if you used a riser plate it should have even more sustain.
@metalheadsunite10 жыл бұрын
yes, the difference is almost not noticeable, i just got my kahler put on my ltd m400, what i notice is the note has almost the same sustain, but my harmonics have a thicker richer tone.
@metalheadsunite10 жыл бұрын
they have two variations of each model, the cheaper ones called the hybrid is only available with a brass cam and brass saddles, or you can get the hand made ones from wich you can choose brass, aluminum or steel cam and saddles, the hybrids are about 250, and the handmade ones are about 350. I notice some of the newer floyds are almost as expensive nowadays, but the floyds are offering multiple lines so there are more affordable ones and more expensive ones, however the kahler is much easier to setup.
@deathmetalthrashmetal57468 жыл бұрын
I play Metal too, I really like the harmonic squeals like dimebag does a lot, I want to do that too but I don't know what kinda bridge better is for that: a floyd rose or a kahler? can you guys help me out?
@metalheadsunite8 жыл бұрын
It is all preference, if they both produce excellent harmonic content, but different metals used will slightly change that sound, of you like Gary Holt's divebom then Floyd, if you like slayer style firebombs or suffocation go with kahler

It’s a 2300..if you look above the bar & tension adjustment screw you’ll see two unused holes(2300-5 total(2 on outsides for whammy bar/palm bar, 2 adjacent for bar stiffness adjustment screws, 1 in the middle tension adjustment screw)7300-3 total(1 at bottom for bar, 1 in between for bar stiffness adjustment, 1 at top for tension adjust)) if my memory serves me..

@utooberblooper11 жыл бұрын
the issue that Ive heard isn't with the dive bombs and pull ups with the whammy,its when you do full step bends on the guitar neck,it throws the guitar out of tune almost every time its done,apparently. is there any way to stop the kahler equipped guitars from going so badly out of tune when doing bends? its kind of hard to solo well without doing bends unless its a solo like the guy in the video who only uses the bar and very little actual soloing

does anyone know what gauge string he uses? I've been a 10-46 elixir player in standard but as im starting to play more speed/thrash im considering 10-52s....
@deathmetalthrashmetal57468 жыл бұрын
ryan plays most of timr in standard tuning, so if u use 10-52 its going to be difficult to bend te strings. I think the one u got is good. I thought that 10-52 is better for lower tunings. but to answer your question: idk what gauses he uses
