Thank you Ryan! You have a great and practical teaching style. I am only a bit over the 4 hour mark so far but I love how you built some basic concepts and now your are tying it to actual exploit functionality. Please continue to make these types of videos they are extremely helpful!

Would you recommend learning web development alongside learning web application security?
@JakartaMax
@JakartaMax 7 күн бұрын
Either learn basics of webdev alongside, or, learn it "if needed" if you want to/need to understand something better. The "on demand" process would be more logical I would dare to say as you focus specifically on what's needed, but, you have to be patient for that, as it might make the whole process slower as you might have to "pause continuing with the hacking stuff" until you understand the web stuff you just focus on, enough. Hope that makes sense 😅😂

@JakartaMax yea so I tried to learn both simultaneously, I did The Odin Project foundations. It was honestly a bad idea to do web dev with the BSCP that I was studying. But doing the foundations course gave me a deep and strong understanding of how the web works. But I realized, I don't need to center div containers all day to be a good hacker. I am still going to pick up a language, it's likely going to be go or python. Something for automation that's also systems level, so go lang more than likely.

If you know all of those languages, you can pick up Linux CLI super easily. you must have used the terminal in some job somewhere. its not tough you can figure it out, install Kali on a VM, you will pick it up in under a month
