This song just won't leave my head. It's classic Ryan Adams, simple and affective.

Now THAT is channeling some vintage Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. That organ is total Vintage Heartbreaker stuff. I can totally hear Tom snarling through that "Gimme something good" too.

Benmont Tench is part of Ryan Adams' touring band, I guess he's on the record as well.

***** He played the keys when Ryan was opening TCT in Wembley last year and he's been with him on some other gigs since then. I guess it depends on the schedules considering that Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have a new record out as well.

Loving this - it's the space between the notes that I love that riff is pure classic fm rock. Reminds me of my childhood radio in the kitchen and the sound of California reaching the South Pacific.

Check out Ashes and Fire, excellent CD. Check out the vids on this if you want to hear them before you buy. I think he sounds better live when he does acoustic. B the way, Johnny Depp plays guitar on the new song, "Kim."

Drove my gf bonkers playing this video, played it 3,4,5 times ,"Note to Self" also great song of his. I think he's probably the last musician i remember going into an actual record store to buy. That could of been 2003 at that store on Prince st NYC,anyone remember that place? The guy working there I remember looked like he thought he was Adams. He gave me this "you've never heard of Whiskytown" attitude. No ,American radio plays the same Elton John and Queen and Gaga songs repeatedly forever! I hope this guy changes all that!
