Great day in DUB came to an interesting end. After leaving the mound at 1530, heavy lines at security meant that I only got through to the gate less than an hour before departure. My aircraft, EI-FIV arrived about 15 minutes late from BRS. We then walked out to the aircraft, had to wait a further 15 minutes at the bottom of the stairs while other passengers were deboarding.
After pushing back 30 minutes behind schedule, a very busy Dublin meant we weren't airborne until 1840, 50 minutes late. After departing 28 we made a non standard left turn, giving impressive views, we reached FL230 for about 5 minutes or so before beginning our approach into LPL, again very impressive views all the way down followed by a firm bouncing landing on Runway 27. One of the more interesting I've experienced. We finally arrived on stand at 1915, 30 minutes late.
Despite the delays, not a bad flight with Ryanair. I was let down by the cabin as I had been expecting a Sky Interior (The aircraft was fitted with LED lights on the exterior) however it only had the slimline seats. It was still very comfortable, great legroom and a pleasant crew. No complaints.
