Tiana i agree with you , there is a limit. and a big difference between being blind and dumb. All the behavior he was showing ? it wasnt even signs , he was being violent and a piece of trash shamelessly. but i think its not that she was dumb but she lacked courage you know. Some women are scared to make the first step because change scares them (or the man sometimes).
@hanayah23158 ай бұрын
This is a much better take than the one where they were blaming her! It was frankly a little infuriating and showed a lack of empathy. Yes, it is infuriating to watch someone be such doormat to other people but inaction/not leaving an abusive relationship can be caused by many things including the mental hold that the abuser/s has on the victim. They aren’t always red flag or at least the victims might not always be able to recognize the red flags especially if that behavior has been normalized or minimized! Some abusers act nicer when the victim is not legally bound to them and do not feel the need to do so after they get married because marriage becomes the shackle that tie their victim to them especially if they married the people with a goal in mind. Unfortunately, Not everyone has the courage it takes to make changes in their lives especially if their abuser will react violently to them trying to leave; though we do wish that more people will have the courage to do so.

She's a woman who's had her self-confidence completely undermined and broken by her 'friend' since she was a young girl, Also, her actions now that she knows what will happen in the future are very out of character from her old meek self, and the boyfriend is lashing out because she's never acted like that before. He probably didn't have any reason to show his violent streak while they were dating, since she accepted everything he and the friend threw at her (and once they got married she was pretty much trapped, since divorce in Korea is still so frowned upon). And even though she had this feeling that some of the things the boyfriend and the friend did were not nice, she had absolutely no one to give her support, and for fear of being completely alone she ended up accepting everything (I'll put up with it or she'll no longer be my friend/he'll no longer be my boyfriend). For people who are confident it's easy to say ok, I'll get new friends then, but for someone who's been bullied and told all their lives they're not good enough it's not that simple. I understand where you're coming from, our gut reaction is to scream 'just do something, don't put up with this crap!!', but saying it's her fault is too simplistic.

the boy is so clueless lmao it’s funny “does other people don’t remember a second life” how come if they didn’t live it yet? she travelled back in time and then he asks “the dad doesn’t knows” he’s dead he came back as an angel who saved her to give a second chance in life 😂😂😂😂
@ctine23848 ай бұрын
It's understandable that we can all say "it's her fault" but if you'll find out the reasons of her actions on more episodes coming you will know WHY and you will understand her more. This is what we always says.. "we can't judge a person by its cover" it is literally true.

i understand where you are coming from but when a woman doesnt have any form of support,it will be hard for her to break and come out of any abusive relationship she is in! we cannot blame the victim or say that a woman brought this upon herself! it is easy to comment but i often read about women in situations like this and it is not easy! what we can do if we ever come across a situation like this is to be that support and voice for her until she gets the courage and voice to speak up for herself. now lets say if you do come across someone in a situation like this and with this thinking that she brought this upon herself idk how much of a help you will be for her.

Ahh some people don't understand what it's like being in a relationship with a narcissist. They are quite charming in the beginning, lot of 'love bombing'. And then when they have sucked you into their world, the tables get flipped.

You should finish this FAST!!! A lot of twists and it gets better and better each episode which can answer your questions. I never watch Kdramas alot but this one really hooked me up!
@crisa_8 ай бұрын
I understand your perspective about how the protagonist should have stood up and left the situation if it was so bad. BUT.. that thinking also doesn't show much empathy for the differences in people, overall life experiences, and general living situations. You may have grown up with the experience to allow you to have or gain the self-confidence to stand for yourself in hard situations but sometimes (for some people), the details are significantly different. Battered wife syndrome is a thing and placing blame on the victim doesn't help anyone; it's, in fact, harmful. This may not be what you meant, I just wanted to put this out there.

I love this drama and have watched many reactions to it. This is the first time I heard someone blaming our female lead for suffering her poor 1st life. Is this her fault being cheated by her best friend & husband? Is this her fault being bullied by her mother-in-law? Is this her fault being killed? I felt depressed and heart breaking for her when I watched this in the 1st time. She deserved a better life and I looked forward to her become a strong & brave girl.
@xoxocaiexo27698 ай бұрын
Finally!!! I hope you'd finish this one. Characters especially the antagonists were written so well that's why your BP might soar along the way but it has the most satisfying ending for me. It's like everything was resolved and it doesn't really feel so rushed (if you know what I mean). But honestly there are also some points where the flow is dragging in some ways. But all in all, it's a good roller coaster experience. 🙂 I mean I finished this one already but it's nice to rewatch it while watching your reaction. Thanks for reacting to this. It's my recent favourite. 🙂

There's so many women (and men) stuck in abusive relationships and it's not always the case of the man trapping them physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. When your life experiences turns into a complete absence of self-esteem and self-confidence, you're not going to be able to look past that because the mindset at the time would be, "I don't have anyone else in my life except for them". And the fear of being alone in life is much greater than you think, that they'd put up with the trashiest people even if it ruins them. Of course not everyone js the same, and some might be okay with being alone but that isn't the case for everyone. So many people in this world are so ignorant of this, it's not as simple as "this is a red flag, I should get out" or "I deserve better than this crap, I'm leaving". There's a lot of things that is going on mentally that people are not going to have the capability to just open their eyes to the dire situations in their life. So people who say they don't feel bad for her for putting herself in this situation, open your eyes and start showing a bit more empathy and understanding on this. Because your ignorance is showing.
