In the 9th anniversary live though, when the members tease Mingyu about having some footage of the bts of the calypso scene, Mingyu looks uncomfortable. Wonwoo pointed it out

The vocal units mv is not about their inside joke. This is carat interpretation : Woozi - person who has social anxiety or introvert, doesn't like to go outside, so he used the robot to buy groceries. Jeonghan - eyesight problem, so he can't really see the 'truth' and think everything is a 'lie'. Joshua - adult, busy with works but he barely knows anything about his work, he looks like a meerkat because he keep 'look up' to his co-workers a lot. DK - student who struggles and busy with his studies, sometimes he keep imagining himself to be a rock, wanted to be alone and do nothing. Seungkwan - teenager/kid perhaps, a loner who is trying to find a friend but he kept being rejected. And the tiger at the as shout out to Hoshi because Woozi said this song was inspired by him😂.

i think jeonghan's wasn't necessarily seeing everything as a lie but its more on seeing things differently from others and people tell him that he needs to view life in a certain way and lead this type of life and that's why he stumbles because even though he corrected his views to fit others', its not the life he's supposed to lead and its not the path he's supposed to take because he also has his own life and his own views

for context that rock is jeonghan's rock pet and it's name is doljjong and dk bought one more pet rock for himself too, recently jeonghan said his rock went to study overseas in a live😅he had it for a long time.

The reason hoshi was there bc hoshi made a mistake while preforming and after ot the members told him about it and he said "its my first time living too" so that's how woozi came up with this song

Don’t be sorry about the captions~ some reactors like to focus on the sound or visuals then look at the lyrics later. But I was very happy you discovered them in time for vocal unit’s song. The captions here explains more clearly than the lyrics/ translation videos. Lalali and Cheers to youth lyrics became more clear to me after watching the MVs. As for spell, who's looking at the lyrics when the visuals and choreo are that good anyways..🤭
