Half an hour, Ha! Seriously though, I am amazed at what I saw that slab of wood become. I have been carving with knives and gouges for about 4 years, something I took up after having to retire through disability (an opportunity since I always wanted to try it). Over the last couple of months, inspired by people like Jordy and yourself I've had a go at power carving and I love it. Now, I'm no stranger to power tools, hand tools or woodworking but I never tried carving until I had time on my hands (still never used a chainsaw but it will happen). My advice to anyone, especially younger anyones, is don't wait. Get in there and have a go. If it's not for you then have a go at something else, but be creative. Along with family it is the source of all joy.

You are an absolute artist Ryan!!! I love your work and a true inspiration! I was helping to take a tree down at the time Carver Kings came out and grabbed a couple of the rounds and made my first bear. Nothing like you and doubt I could give it away much less sell it. But I love that bear and carving is an awesome hobby when I have the time. I appreciate you sharing your talents and insights!

But as we all know there's still a ton to go but I am gaining more with every video and piece I watch you two create. Thank you for your unselfish sharing of your knowledge and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year.

@@RyanCookCarvin Naw man, seriously, I have watched you for a while now, first on carver kings and saw dogs, and now on YT. Really appreciate all of the information and techniques that you share. I am just getting into chainsaws, and learning more about carving, and it is really inspirational. Honestly, you should easily be over 100k subs by now. Honestly, I really feel like you will get there.

Wow, I literally just used the same picture to do a 1in thick carving, only my fifth carving took me a really long time and I had to turn the head of it in order to get all four teeth in there but it came out good, I gave it to someone for their trophy rims oh, so this is nice to watch a professional do it because I had to wing it the whole time pretty much
