I began watching your channel and another fellow who sings for people on this same platform. It looked like so much fun that I logged in myself and thought I could chat with people around the world. It did not take me very long to realize that you must be very patient and also must have excellent editing skills. In my short test drive most people just skipped me which is fine then the next largest percent were unpleasant people with odd fetishes. In any case I want you to know I appreciate what you must go through to provide this fantastic entertainment. Cheers from the left edge of Canada. ~ulrich

You are fortunate to meet so many people that have a nice sense of humor. WELL DONE on learning mulitple languages. I seem to be past the age that I can pick them up but at least, I speak Dutch. Any time I happened to be in Times Square back in 2010-2011, almost every time, I hear some folks speaking Dutch. I joke like you, asking , "What are you speaking?" as so few people speak Dutch. After they tell me Dutch, I reply, in Dutch, "Really? No kidding? That is a very difficult language." We all get a good laugh. I speak a bit of Spanish and some German. It is different enough from Dutch to be hard for me. I need to learn as my three grand kids (the oldest is seven) mostly speak German but do understand English.

Great video Ryan, your content man is really entertaining & funny to watch. It's crazy how much your channel is blowing up right now, I remember seeing you were at 80,000 subscribers not to long ago. You defintely deserve it though. I think it would also be a good idea to make videos of you practicing languages with people in person & not just on omegle kind of like how laoshu used to do it. I think that would make for really great content.

Her name is not Yulem, but Yulya. It's the Russian short version of english "Julia". The full name is Yulia. And she said "Nu", but not "No". "Nu" is kinda word-parasite, which means "well". So. what she's meant is "Ahmm, well, something like that" or "well, you could say that". Basically, I can also compare russian "Nu" with english 'like", 'cause "like... mmm.. like... you know..." ))))

I never get over how well people in other countries can speak English. So sick👏
@CosplayZine Жыл бұрын
English is a second language to nearly every country. So they learn when they are very young and it becomes normal for them. They need to learn for survival because many countries are poor or lower wage and their goal is to come to America one day to help their family. My gf lives overseas and since she cannot come to America yet instead she traveled to Singapore to work and help her family in the Philippines.
@mimi-yi7dp2 жыл бұрын
English is the first language I've learned apart from my native one. It took me nearly 2 years to be able to speak a bit better than I was. You inspire me a lot. How did you learn so many languages?>
@RyanHaleYT2 жыл бұрын
Your English is excellent! I think my secret is I love chatting with people, so I can grasp the true way to speak the language quickly :D
@livedandletdie2 жыл бұрын
@@RyanHaleYT listening is important, and having a conversation allows for both oral exercise and listening exercise, thus it helps understand the sounds of a language better, and it also helps with pronunciation as you get to practice speaking as well. So I do believe that's how you got so good, just take Wouter Corduwener or Ikenna or the late Moses McCormick, all of which practice a lot via speaking with others, thus immersing themselves into the language.
