Ryan thanks for the video and the help. I need a little help with something though. One thing I noticed about Awkward Styles is they add sales tax to each of your orders. So if you are a Etsy seller ONLY you will end up having each item double taxed which would make their prices higher then it looks. Every POD company I have work with in the past either did not charge sales tax or allowed you to submit 1 reseller certificate that would act like a blanket cert for all. We only use Etsy at this time for sales because Etsy automatically collects and remits the sales tax for your store. Awkward Styles also automatic adds sales tax to every order we place which we pay before the shirt is made and shipped. To get tax free Awkward Styles wants a resell certificate filled out for each state, some states Awkward Styles wants one for multiple counties. Each one you need to supply a state sales tax id number (some states call them different things) that is being used to collect the tax. The problem with this is Etsy is doing this on our behalf, so we do not have that information to give that to them. So currently if we were to use Awkward Styles with Etsy. Here is a example with the Bella Canvas 3011. Printiful price - $12.95 Awkwards price - $10.30 If someone buys it via Etsy and has a $2.55 sale tax. Printful - 12.95(base) + 2.55(etsy tax) = 15.50 Awkwards - 10.30(base) + 2.55(awk tax) + 2.55 (etsy tax) = 15.40 So you end of saving 10 cents, which can add up over time but not the $2.65 savings you really thought you was going to get per sale. But also you are paying sales tax per item and your customer is paying sales tax, so each item is getting double taxed.

I am just wondering as talked to Max from Awkward Styles about it and was even told that I since Etsy charges sales taxes also "he recommend checking out Shopify or woocommerce since we also have integrations with them" If it has been changed to be like most others that is great! And I will surely test your company out!

I use Awkward Styles within Printify for matching family/group shirts. They have a good selection of kid/baby sizes so they can handle large matching shirt orders with a mixture of adult, youth, and baby sizes. But for adult-only BC3001 orders, my primary provider is Monster Digital. The adult BC3001 tees from Awkward Styles are $0.62 cheaper, but shipping is $0.80 more expensive. So my costs are still lower with Monster Digital (MD also has more colors). But Awkward Styles is a great back up provider.

Hi Ryan….I noticed during your review that the “Printable Area” is over 16 inches in with (almost 17) on an Awkward Styles T-Shirt. Lol….Ive seen freeway billboards smaller than that. Joking aside…..I recently went to Macys to measure available T-Shirt Designs. I found that probably 95% of the designs printed on Shirts were 9inches to Max 10 inches (very few at 11 inches or greater ). What is your “Go To” printed designs measurements. Do you have an opinion on this….because lol …we all know Size matters (yuk yuk). Interested in your thoughts. Thnx for your time.

Your videos are great and each time I watch one from your Cassiy or Heather, I get new info and want to make changes in my shop as I have just started. So is it just a matter of a checkmark when you design a product in say Pintify to change it over to AwkwardStyles? Or do I need to redesign on their platform? Maybe a video? please. Thanks

the most important part, like how to integrate with Etsy was just 2 sentences long. OK, its just one click you say, but how do you connet the existing listings on Etsy to AS? Do I have to delete them and make them new? I would loose all the rankings then....

I was using them, but everything that I order from them comes with stains on it. Even after I washed it, my customer's clothes and my samples still had stains. What is going on? I love their print quality too but not the stains. Has this happened to anyone else?

If you design a T-shirt, you will get profit, how to add it, how to link and how the money will be transacted and how to check how to get the profit, if you design this T-shirt in the direct bank, money will be deducted from my account, then only sharing will happen or customer I will get the money after deducting the money from my account, first I design the T-shirt, how much money will be charged from my account, it is all automatic, as much as the sales, I will get commission by designing...? Our QC errors are proudly consistently under 1%, and we are very sorry you had a negative experience. However, pretreatment marks are unfortunately due to the nature of the DTG process and bound to happen occasionally. They typically wash out, and we are happy to reprint or refund products that are not up to par. We truly apologize for the inconvenience.
