Can't be certain, but 13:50 looks like a classic microburst...since it was so sudden...and it occurred deep inside the storm's core, which tornadoes usually do not.

I can DEFINITELY see the green in the sky on this storm. I hope that you and your family weren't harmed in any way during this storm, Ryan. I've only seen one "green" sky when I was a teen back in Long Island; after getting out of the foster care system. We had a BUNCH of hail and STRONG winds!!! The next day driving around the neighborhood it LOOKED LIKE we'd had a tornado touch down in the area. I mean... there were HUGE trees snapped off and on peoples' houses and blocking the roads!!! But I've yet to actually SEE a tornado. And (at 60 yrs old) I STILL want to see one with my own eyes.

I found it interesting the huge changes in volume of the tornado siren. How the wind must have been whipping the sound waves around to make the audio level appear to fluctuate that much! And the street lights on in the daytime. How dark did it have to be in order to make that happen?! Auto irises on video cameras will always try to bring light levels up, to compensate for darkness, so I’m guessing it was even darker in person than it appears here. Lightning frequency tells an ominous story as well.

@@T0R2346 it’s caused by lots of hail refracting the light that’s coming inside of the storm. Since the sky is blue it looks green. That’s also why the color changes around sunset. Usually if a storm is strong enough to produce that much hail, there’s a decent chance it could go tornadic. Pecos Hank has a great video on this.

The last time it rained like this in Calif. chickens were laying square eggs. If it ever rains again people will think it's the end of the world. Just endless smog, smoke and haze. If you like weather, Calif. is just one great big party poop.

I remember, a few years ago, we had a cock-a-poo (cocker spaniel poodle mix). Every time there was a fire or something like that here in eastern Pennsylvania, the sirens would go off and he would start howling along tight with them. Hilarious! Dogs are funny. Great video!

Niklas Enblom it's not funny. Dogs are and cats are scared of very loud sounds. That's why the dog in this video was whimpering. It was scared of the sirens. They're also scared of fire trucks.

@reverse thrust that is so true my friend. A lot of us are sick of Gov Moonbeam's antics and the other clowns running this state. We are driven more than ever to clean house in November!

Why did the siren stop? We don't have them where I live. We rarely have tornadoes either; however, on September 21, 2018, the National Capital Region of Canada had six.

Impressive. Its interesting how there was intense intracloud lightning but hardly any CGs.

All the severe storms were like that when I was a kid in WNY. Strong not severe thunderstorms back then seemed more severe than the severe ones. Now even there they either have no lightning (winter storms unless it's lake effect snow then there can be lightning like in a severe thunderstorm depending on how intense the lake snowband is)or lots of CG strikes. Even in long island severe storms have lots of CG

I love the echos though. Very good video. I remember it was a Sunday and we for some reason had school the next day. I think it was the storm that hit Moore the next day. I remember hearing the sirens. And the first activation for the 2012 one. That one scared the hell out of me, not the 2013 one though.

Not always. I experienced a green sky with a thunderstorm once and it just had high winds and torrential rain. 🌧 ⛈ I was south of Garden City, KS at the time. I took shelter in my truck between two sturdy buildings at a cattle farm. 🚜
