This tut makes me think of using wall running in my current project but it's third person haha Still, the fundamentals you lay out here are fantastic! I'm sure third person is a whole other set of stuff to deal with when it comes to IK feet placement and animations, etc.

I am also thinking the same, This is kinda good starting point for TPS Let me know how it goes

You can follow this for third person and then just do a few extras steps to link animations, is really not noo much extra.

Hey, this tutorial is great. I'm a very new person to Unreal and this really helped me get a better grasp of the nodes. I also have a quick question. Is it possible to implement a wall climb using the same method of thought for the wall running but instead check for if the player is going straight into a wall using the normals and seeing if it's either almost the opposite of the player direction or perpendicular to the players right direction to initiate a wall climb to go straight up it. Almost like a Genji from Overwatch type thing.

Hey Ryan. I love everything you are doing but am wondering if you plan on finishing the survival videos? There is still soooooo much to do in it and I would love to see it get finished. Thanks for all you do.

Hey, great content @Ryan Laley. Following your Inventory System tutorial right now to get a hang of it (probably will change some things, but tutorials are always great when learning something new) One small thing I noticed: If you could make your Details Panel a bit smaller, it would be way easier to follow what you are doing. The visible Part of the blueprints is actually quite small which makes it hard to find what one missed. Being able to see more of the blueprint would widen the frames the info missing is in. Checked out the newest Video to see if maybe you changed this already ;)

I came across this Channel when I got stuck with a collage project. I’m new to unreal but I have been using unity for the past 3 years of collage. I am in my final year now and I have to make a big game and hopefully release it using UE5.. I am making a platformer game inspired by jak and Dexter, ratchet and clank, and some old ps2/psp games. What tutorial do you recommend to watch as you have so many??.. thank you so much for the tutorials they will help me a lot with my last major game project
