I really hope that Crackerman unplugged tutorial comes soon. I'll give you the credit or sum if i do it and upload or something. I would be a patron or something if I didn't live in the third world. Your channel seriously helped me rediscover my love for guitar.

Whilst painting a room at work yesterday, questioning my life decisions, this old favourite came on the one station I could get on a dodgy radio, and suddenly all was well in the world again. Brian (my brain) reminded me that Ryan has a video on it, thanks Brian. I now can’t focus on learning it tho because I’m blown away by someone giving you that guitar! What a champion bloke!

I was completely floored myself... he told me he was sending me some pedals he doesn't use any more. Regards to Brian ;)

Shannon Hoon is smiling! He was an absolute genius. Sadly though, another brilliant artist whose life was cut short by drugs. I wore Blind Melon’s debut album out in the early 90’s. Still have that original CD from ‘92 too... so many fantastic songs on that album! Well done, Ryan!
@RyanLendt4 жыл бұрын
thank you so much TL :) It's an honor to, in one small way, keep the music I love alive.

After many attempts. I still can´t get the speed for the last run of the notes. I can hit the notes but with and excess of plucks, I either lack the dexterity or I just cant figure out the timing of the plucks and / or hammer ons(offs) and can never make it sound right. I leave it, come back in weeks, try for several hours a couple of days, just can´t do it. So frustrating.

Another nice solo for this song is part of a live acoustic version at kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4jWent5i5aGetU. It is played on a Guild F50R with very light gauge strings (for bending), so if played on an acoustic with heavier strings the bends can be replaced with slides. Also, by putting a capo on the second fret you can play both the lead and the rhythm parts simultaneously, still in the original key (using the D shape to play the E chord, the C shape to play the D chord, etc.) Sounds very nice played this way.
