The way i see it in the video is he was nose to nose with you going into the corner and it seems like the lapper was going to move up but didn't. Why a lapper is in the middle of the track is beyond me. I feel like you can't put that all on Rusty, when he is door to door with you going into the corner. It really showed in this race..You drove like a World of Outlaw talent - you did !! I think the set up and handling was going away toward the end and Rusty's was better... Rusty has been kicked outta I96 and other tracks& NOT because he respected anyone else!!!! Truth. That was dirty. Anyone can drive their car into the corner harder than the guy in front of them. It's not hard to do especially when you drive in under two cars because 12 wheels turn a lot better than 4.

My take on the incident, and I've raced for a long time in VA MD area. Ive won tons of races, championship, etc. So I have an understanding on what's a racing deal and what's not. When they both came out of turn 2 and were quickly approaching that lap car, it looks like from this view that Ryan comes down the track, and not the other guy coming up. So then I try to see how far the 2nd place car is up beside the Ryan's car when Ryan starts to come down. To me it looks as is the 2nd place car is far enough up beside Ryan that Ryan should've seen him there. The lap starts to come down the track a bit as he is approaching turn 3, which is likely why Ryan started to come down track as well. But imo the 2nd place car had position and he didn't need to lift. Now if he was only up to Ryan's rear quarter panel, then yes he's should lift. My rule of thumb is if my bumper is up to the front of the door, I have position on who ever im attempting to pass and not obligated to back out. And I would expect the same from anyone's else. I also don't blame Ryan, he had to come down it looked to keep from getting pinned behind the lap car and not let the 2nd place car use the lap car as a pick. I don't blame either one, last 2 laps means there aren't gonna be too many favors given.

A True Gentleman You Are!!! I’ve been following you for a long long time as I am a huge Late Model fan! Supers are the fav but I follow the 602’s and 604’s as well. Along with modifieds and sprint cars. So let’s just say I love dirt track racing in general. LOL But you’ve always been a stand up racer who always does the right thing. And someone made the comment already saying that emotions get the best of us sometimes……….that is very very true. Especially if you are a true, honest human being and are passionate about what you’re doing. He took you out and there is no doubt about it! So obviously that a blind person could have seen it. (No disrespect to the blind) It was up to him to lift not you!!! He wrecked you for the win and couldn’t even admit it afterwards! He just blamed you for it all! He did the same thing that the a&@ho;e a few videos back did to you! But at least he was man enough to admit that he took you out when you confronted him and told him that he just ran you over. At least that asshole could admit it. Keep being true to yourself, your family, your team, and the sport. After all there is good karma and bad karma. And I’m pretty sure all your followers know what kind of karma you attract. I can’t wait till you’re racing again so we get more videos. And I would really like to see you run some races down south this winter! I know you could run up front with a lot of them. #HuntTheFront for example. Hook up with them and do some racing where they are down south this winter. I’ll help for free. Just let me know when and where!!! Once again, a true gentleman you are. And what a great family and friends you have behind you!! Congrats.

Rusty Schlenk is in the top 3 of the dirtiest drivers out there in late model racing. I have said it for years and I’ll continue to say it until he decides to change his style. I apologize but I don’t care for the guy because nothing is ever his fault, it’s always the other driver that causes the problems when racing against him. I have said it to him in comments and at a track but if he is ever on the track with one of my cars and decides to drive one of my drivers dirty, he will not finish the race or he is going to have a lot of work to do to make the next race. I hate being this way but I have given my drivers some orders that they better make sure that he doesn’t finish the race or he will have a whole bunch of work to do if he ever puls his shenanigans with either of them. I know that this is not the way to race but when I heard him make a comment to another driver about how he was going to destroy their car because he has the money for a demolition derby. Well, there’s numerous other owners that have the money to play demolition derby if that’s what he wants to do. I have 4 cars sitting at my shop that are doing nothing but sitting there collecting dust that could be cleaned up, taken to any racetracks and be in contention for the win. The only reason that we are not racing these cars is because we made the switch to longhorns and haven’t done anything with these cars since we made the switch. I’m being 100% serious when I say this but if you want another Rocket for your backup, there’s a 2021 Rocket sitting there that is ready to race minus the motor and transmission, come pick it up. I’m about 8 and a half hours south from you, reply with your email and I will contact you about a day for you to come pick it up. Lastly, don’t let idiots like Rusty Schlenk make you consider not racing anymore, I will help you out with sponsorship if that’s something that you need. I will pay for your tires, fuel, entry fees and give you some sponsorship money to outrun him.

Hey listen Ryan, I wholeheartedly understand exactly both your pov and the afterthought’s as well. Although those afterthoughts (for yourself) came before you got the hotrod back to your pit. That being said… I’m not taking anything away from car #91 either two wrongs don’t make it right..if there’s anything about him (Which I’m sure there is) he’s feeling shitty in his afterthoughts as well for driving in on top of ya,forcing you up the track into a lap car that’s just out there for the points or the seat time, maybe because he loves it just like so many of us do. You had the race won without any doubt, for him to do what he did actually shows he doesn’t give a shit about beating & banging bending chassis’s,sheetmetal or ruining a some rubber doing it. When a man works his off all week long simply to put everything back into his hotrod, & you definitely gotta hotrod..yeah hell yeah every now and then it’s only human to think and feel like you deserve a win just like anybody else does. An to have that win taken away from you like that and still have a beat up hotrod hell yeah I’d be fucking pissed off my damn self…at least after letting his ass kno you didn’t appreciate that bullshit, while him tryna cut down in front of you an tearing up some more bullshit, you didn’t let him get to ya & on to the pits you went. Which is what you should’ve done, you kno as well as I do there’s guys that would’ve tore they whole ass car up ramming shit out there. You didn’t that’s what speaks volumes to me the person you are. Fuck a social media it’s okay to loose your shit in a situation like that,it’s not okay to go full retard like he wanted to do tho. He should’ve hung his head at that moment what else has he got left I mean fuck who wants to win one winning it like that. Fuck that shit…he’s okay with it tho.
