In slow motion it's really easy to see that the players have zero idea what to do in between the animations triggering. They will literally start running or spinning or side-stepping in random directions until they can be sucked into an animation and then they suddenly snap into a groove and know to do something lol. It is just robbery to sell this trash as an actual professional football sim.

True. It's so lazy/disrespectful to Coach Maddens name & us fans as a whole. You can't even edit your players without it glitching out on you. You cant change a players number or it will glitch & give them a generic cartoon face. The graphics look goofy & every player other then the superstars have replica generic faces that look horrible. Remember as ER said himself when you sprint as the ball carrier, your blockers lose blocks faster and release them, which makes absolutely 0 sense whatsoever, so probably you sprinting outside the pocket triggers a telekinesis in every lineman to surrender all blocks

I noticed this in CFB 25 as well. The only time I break good runs was if I didn’t hold turbo immediately no matter how good the blocks are. As soon as you sprint, defenders tackle you. Thought I was going crazy.

There’s a guy on twitter, in practice mode had a trips left, TE to the right and rb in back field same side as TE. He put the TE on a corner route. On defense he put 3 defenders on cloud coverages for the TE. None of the defenders reacted to the Corner properly. You should test it as well and post it. It’s really a shame they still have this exclusive license

What that video LIKELY doesn’t show you is that he set the flats and curl flats to zero. I tested it without messing w any setting or adjustment and the correct zone played the correct TE Everytime People Need to stop wasting energy just to prove whatever point Everything can and is fact checked

I had to give all 32 teams in franchise mode a 99 overall offensive line, and they still let defenders go right by them lol. I honestly don’t know man. On Pro difficulty they will block decently, but as soon as you crank up the difficulty to all pro or all madden every d line you play is the 07 Giants in Super Bowl 42 lmfao

Yep I noticed this so much with CFB 25. I went in to practice mode and ran the same play like 30 times. An inside trap. On Freshman and Varsity levels the blocks were crisp but not unrealistically great. The defense was just poor at tackling on the back end. Maybe 3 or 4 broken tackles each play. When I bumped it to All American the d-line started slipping blocks and running right by lineman without getting touched. On Heisman the DL had enough speed to run past O-line and stop me 3 yards deep every time.

Every non DL or safety completely stopped and watched him run by. Give ea credit though, because the safeties didn't stop... No, no... They ran 80 yards out of the back of the endzone 😂. Anyway, there were actually people on the thread defending the play and commending the safeties for holding their deep coverage responsibility. That's why this game will never change, because the target audience is fine with it.

I don't think I can link facebook urls on here, but on my fb I saw a video where in Madden 25 they had an Antonio Brown like play in that before the ball is hiked, a wide receiver(Samuel of the Bills) just starts running from the slot, towards the sidelines, goes to the sidelines while still running mind you, and runs all the way to where the players enter the field. Every other player on offense and defense is still, waiting for the ball to be snapped.

CFB blocking is so atrocious . Playing against heisman CPU is laughable at times. Going against FCS team and 1-2 of there players gets through with ease almost every play. Can hardly run longer developing plays unless I know which exact route I’m going to or check down is immediately open. On the flip side my 90 DE is getting thrown to the ground by a 70 overall LT . It’s so so and makes no sense

Did you see Sim Gaming Networks video? The player rating system doesn’t work. He dropped Caleb Williams accuracy ratings to 1 and was still throwing on target passes. Excessively high completion percentages from lower overall passers and sliders have absolutely no affect on it. Ive dropped cpu qb accuracy slider to 1 and the fool still completes 80% of his throws. The system is definitely broken.
